Every time tommy engaged he missed with his looping straight, ksi ducked, clinched and hooked his chin and body many times. Tommy just kept missing and only landed clean towards the end. KSI's whole gameplan, be awkward, jump around, swinging arms, and as soon as tommy commits, just clinch and fight on the inside. That's how he got hit behind the head, just keep turning his head and bait the point deduction. The commentators & KSI thinks he landed more and had better shots but that's just not true. Most of his shots were punches during the clinch at the body or back. Tommy threw more, landed more but had a worse % only because he tried to punch outside the clinch which is harder to land. If you're a judge and you have a close fight, you're gonna give it to the one that boxes... like a boxer. KSI barely landed, and his lands weren't clean. The first round, his best punch for example, was on the neck.

There were dozens of times both fighters punched one another in the back of the heads, that’s what happens when 1 fighter (KSI) keeps relying in the clinch after every punch. Unlike KSI, Tomy just kept his cool and complied with the red, even holding his arms out and revealed when ref called for a break up. I still think KSI did great, against a boxer such as Tommy Fury, JJ was still kind of sloppy in some parts, first and second round looked good and kinda did look in his favor, but he got sloppy and kept hugging. KSI's whole gameplan, be awkward, jump around, swinging arms, and as soon as tommy commits, just clinch and fight on the inside. That's how he got hit behind the head, just keep turning his head and bait the point deduction. The commentators & KSI thinks he landed more and had better shots but that's just not true. Most of his shots were punches during the clinch at the body or back. Tommy threw more, landed more but had a worse % only because he tried to punch outside the clinch which is harder to land. If you're a judge and you have a close fight, you're gonna give it to the one that boxes... like a boxer. KSI barely landed, and his lands weren't clean. The first round, his best punch for example, was on the neck.
