    • Hey, great video, loving your stuff so far! Minor point of feedback: when you faded out Mia's readout of the statistical results you were like 5 seconds away from her conclusion. For people who could understand the "bunch of other shit" she said, it would be really cool to hear the rest of that conversation play out. Not trying to be rude about it; just a little frustrated... Like the nerd equivalent of not letting a melody resolve 😂

    • At first, I thought your channel was pretty cool, but now I realize you’re just a scummy cover-up artist, and you probably work for the government yourself with the goal of spreading disinformation and creating doubt when the reality is where at the point way passed that these are facts and obviously the cast and writers of the show are going to not be honest in public. You think they want to wake up the next morning obviously they do they’re not dumb. but spreading the truth is more important than any of our lives if we want to continue to live in our beautiful free country and not start living in a tyrannical, George Orwellian, world. . Jesus Christ died for our sins. Let’s all make him proud and do Good and the right thing in this world..

The Simpsons writers were just more educated than one would expect for cartoon animaters. As for the NSA episode. The Simpsons writers are rich, famous, and educated. They rub elbows with people who are "in the loop" of current events that haven't caught public headlines. I'm just gonna enjoy the rest of this video.

That's why I'm always surprised when people bring up the NSA episode as "predicting the future" when it's something that was basically an open secret.

A 95% confidence interval requires a p value of 0.05 or less, or a p value of 0.11 would indicate a confidence interval of 89%. In statistics these values are very far off so it seems the amount of work she did was overstated.

    • Stop talking about secularism in public! You're informing the shamanists about how there's obviously a movement to kill them all (and rationalizing the way they think god is commanding them at all times 24/7 without ever taking a break). What part of radical extremist do you have trouble understanding? A lot of people (they are called "extremists" by federal courts/governments and by me, whom they oppose everywhere) think that the invention of the lathe turned everyone into slaves and prevented them from carrying on with building god's kingdom by following his commands 24/7. They're called shamanists and their activity is called extremism, terrorism, or radicalism. They're all against the idea of federal governments existing anywhere in the world. Shamanists are famous for spreading smallpox to their coworkers in order for them all to be unable to work, and by doing so, to apply a [revolutionary] force against their manager. Lukashenko's family has religious ties, but the story about Rome being founded by someone whose mother was a dog/wolf is not meant to be taken as literally as you may have assumed. However, it's not offensive for you to express your belief. Only Putinists can tolerate the spread of news and advertisements. Everyone else is willing to die in order to prevent god from seeing such an ugly mass of flesh. That's why you need to understand who the gods are, and how to make them shut up forever. Even North India's mouth is watering over the chance to kill some extremists and avenge everyone who died of hypothermia because of the interruption in the cotton supply chain which occurred due to the American shamanist revolt against the English Empire. Is there any doubt as to whether there is nothing to do with an American but to interrogate him, and force him to admit to nonsensical crimes, or to force him to kill his own people (his own shamanist people) by any means necessary?

    • Yeah that's my take on it as well, they've always payed attention to current events, pop culture, etc for the show so it's not surprising that they'll make correct predictions sometimes. It's way more fun to think that the writers are freemason illuminati psychic wizards or whatever 🥴🥴🥴

  • @CHUPPL Thank you for acknowledging (at 12:55) the degree of inaccuracy in Homer's prediction of the Higgs boson's I'm all about the Simpsons' predictions, but I'm also a math and physics geek (no degree), so 5:46 showing the deviation in grams was painful. For anyone else reading this, the mass is observed to be ~125.34(±0.15) GeV and Homer's prediction was 775 GeV, which is a discrepancy factor of ~6.18(+) -- i.e.: though there were a number of professional estimations at that time (and wrong, IIRC), Homer's in specific is off by an additional ~518(+)% above the actual mass (like ordering a 20 piece McNugget, but receiving only 3.23(+) pieces); in physics, that's an EPIC FAIL (unless you're talking about the problem with the cosmological constant, where being off by 120 orders of magnitude is as good as it gets...). *EDIT: typo'd 125 GeV as 125 eV! 😅*

  • As a writer, I delve into future possibilities, and it’s fascinating to see how many of the scenarios I’ve envisioned have actually come to pass. Sometimes, what starts as a playful or speculative idea turns out to be eerily prophetic. I can’t quite explain how these predictions unfold or why my imagination aligns so closely with reality it’s a curious blend of intuition and coincidence, perhaps. But it’s always intriguing when a piece intended as fiction finds echoes in the real world like universal sound waves.
