As we have used all Plug and Play cables for the entire set.
From the speakers connector, DSP and also the Woofers are meant for Mercedes Benz.
So why compromise with stock when you can get something better!
Verdict?

Hi Folks. How did you fit the Front speaker system to the original builtin space? Are there special adapters needed? Where did you take the foam for the ring from? How did you fit the subwoofer, because they are not designed for the W206, they are only available for the W205, corresponding to the website of Focal?
The front spkrs were installed by modding the original mount and a custom adapter. We cut our own foam using a home made custom 4 inch cutting template. The W205 Focal Sub right hand sub fits well into the W206. For the left a slight mod needs to be made to the sub itself in order for the top tab of the sub to be mounted to the original mounting post. Hence, Focal can take their own sweet time in releasing the W206 version (right hand drive in our case) , and the show still goes on for everyone. None of the cars wire were cut or spliced as we have the right plug in connectors even at the door mids and also at the sub for but input and output wiring to the DSP.
Hey Peter I currently have the stock system in my w206 as well and would like to ask a couple questions. I was thinking about getting the same component set and was wondering if the upgrade was a significant difference. I also noticed that the w206 has a different mount for the front woofers and would like to know if it requires modifications. Thanks Peter!

did you end up doing anything? i added subs but they are so quiet there’s barely a difference, apparently our cars model has a “weak signal” and that’s why they claimed they couldn’t get full power from my subs
@@kallangg3749 it’s not a weak signal. It’s not the best since it doesn’t go below 30 ish hz (not as important) but it looks like your shop didn’t tap the signal from the front sub. They probably tapped into the rear or front speaker which has a high pass filter preventing lower frequencies from going in. I did not upgrade anything else but I did get a more powerful sub and amp. 13W7 on 1000w, and it shakes the car like crazy, it’s unbelievable. I have loose plastic everywhere because of it. I would suggest you to talk to the shop about where they got their signal and if they won’t change it then find another shop.
@@heroericxu1634hey man, I recently purchased a 2023 C300 and I have the premium sound system (810) but it’s very lackluster in terms of audio quality when it’s loud. I had a Tesla Model 3 before this vehicle and unfortunately the sound system is a huuuuge downgrade. How much did it cost you to upgrade yours? Would going with just. DSP improve the sound quality? Thanks man!
