As long as you are not doing demanding 3D modeling/rendering, Geforce is much cheaper and the $$$ for the Quadro isn't worth it. Faster clock speeds along with more CUDA cores and VRAM dollar for dollar make the Geforce cards the go-to for all purpose systems. That the power for the money, especially at the lower/mid tiers, makes Geforce the better value for most users." www.velocitymicro.com/blog/geforce-vs-quadro-whats-the-difference/

  • Maybe its different for a gaming laptop but to me the track pad is one of the most important things and it looks very compromised, and for what, a second screen that is of very limited use. The location of the keyboard might also be to reduce the amount of heat transfered to the user but there are other ways to do this. This is another one of those 2 steps forward, 2 steps back designs imo and money that could have been used elsewhere.

  • Either that secondery display needs to be big enough to extend on side or they could just added two more of them on side making 3 display each for different task that would sell very much . Rest of the design is amazing especially the cooling, keyboard, touchpad . I doubt the display hinge is stressed I don't know .

    • yeah might as well make 3 small screens. Make one drawing board, 2 for viewing pictures, maps and stuff for drawing, gaming, work. Though I would guess it's battery is already super low.

  • Remove the track pad on the right, replace it with a numpad (with full size arrow keys) and then allow the second screen to act as a track pad. Then it'll be perfect. Absolutely perfect in every way for everyone. (Left handed person here)

  • Doesn't liquid metal need to be re-applied every year or so, in order to maintain peak performance? Any properly applied thermal paste should give significant gains over what laptop manufacturers do now.
