They really went all out with the new 3DS.
Nice
Nah..it is 15DS
@@NamelessPassenger 4k ds
lol
Well played sir.
liquid metal, i9 8 cores. I might be able to squeeze in that fifth Chrome tab.
Lmao
Nah fam it'll probably freeze before the 5th tab could fully load, my i7 16ddr4 1080 ti could barely manage 4
nice one
Used chrome for years, not a single performance Problem lol, get off porn sites.
RAM is your best friend in Chrome.
It is a perfect streamsniper's laptop
🤣🤣
Prepare for banned XD
Omg thats genius
I didn't understand it at the begining
FUCK, I was a gonna make this joke
Now tell the Citra emulator team to support that second screen.
Proof Nintendo can NEVER kill the DS.
It probably can as it is.....in citra you have the ability to turn the bottom 3ds screen into a separate window.....if you can simply drag that window to the smaller screen of this laptop...with touch support, it should automatically work. lol
i just hope the touch screen share inputs with windows ....
@@kninezbanks I didn't find any option to separate second screen to a window. Are you sure about that?
And wiiu y ds
5:46 So it's basically already on your screen, but you got it a second time… "It's super clever"
HP laptop designs have really stepped up recently.
Yeah they are!
They losing market... so they try...
Looks ugly
This tops all the others if you ask me
Yup
would be a great productive working laptop. Imagine doing Adobe Premiere while watching tutorial on the second display.
too small to watch tutorials on it. it is not a smartphone that you can stick on your face for that what-did-he-press detail.
@@constantinosschinas4503 , it would be just fine if they made it possible to instantly switch the display anytime you want
like the zenbook pro 15 did a year ago..nice try hp
This might be one of the best ways I've seen a fuel screen on laptop get used. Actually looks usable and not just a gimmick
great device. never a fan of hp omen design tho. I guess this would priced around 3k usd. looking forward for d2d to review it.
I prefer Jarrod's Tech because of the test he use to do.
2.1-2.7k usd
Pc world: Am I a joke to you?
Meh, just get a ROG Zephyrus or mothership
Nothing beats HP Omen desktops, specially the cube of dreams
Nice work & please upload the review of Acer PREDATOR HELIOS 300 (2019).

i literally couldnt stop applauding when you used the second screen with the minimap that totally got me omfg
Yeah im still stickin with omen 2017 it is still pretty dang good
On the both sides of the little screen they maybe could have shown the fans with a bit of rgb, because that would be just amazing
I sense a decrease in a gamers performance. Playing Pubg and watching porn!
Loool
Lmao what
Just use PC and tablet or phone at the same time
LMAO 😂 😂 what !!
Who still plays pubg?
This is a great laptop for music production work. 8-core + liquid metal = sustained performance.
ive been lookin for a new laptop for music production xd. rip my budget is way out of this laptop but it seems rly good
Isn't a core i9 a bit excessive?
@@alejandrocaicedopuj6231 no it isnt. My CPU usage is always at 60-87% and with that i9 I can do other stuff at the same time
@@alejandrocaicedopuj6231 an i7 is probably good enough for just doing music without multitasking, with i9 I guess you can comfortably record and other stuff in the background. Idk never owned a rly good cpu 😂
Well if you're that kind of person that games while recordimg and producing I think it can be useful
Im just gonna wait for Dave2D's video about this laptop
lolxd mee too!
Same 😂
Its out
This Will be perfect as cad machine, you can make touch shortcut buttons to you autodesk programs, I will personal use it for revit
Why would you use this for cad...Quadro cards are designed for CAD not Geoforce
@@residentxgc I have been using CAD for 20 years. 15 years using Geforce cards, 5 using Quadro. As long as you are not doing demanding 3D modeling/rendering, Geforce is much cheaper and the $$$ for the Quadro isn't worth it. I am currently using a Surface Book 2 with a 1060 and do Civil3D road designs with no problems.
@@ThePegleggedpirate Geoforce was designed for gaming. Quadro for CAD. I'm glad geoforce is meeting your needs.
@@residentxgc That's old school thinking. It's Geforce not Geoforce. "Looking to do a little gaming, a little 3D rendering, and some video? Faster clock speeds along with more CUDA cores and VRAM dollar for dollar make the Geforce cards the go-to for all purpose systems. That the power for the money, especially at the lower/mid tiers, makes Geforce the better value for most users." www.velocitymicro.com/blog/geforce-vs-quadro-whats-the-difference/
@@ThePegleggedpirate I can't reply to this now but Quadro has a different value prop. I'll reply later.
Cool it looks like the first Omen that was a beauty, trapezoid style kudos
6:15 'pretty damn clever'. sure. map is smaller duplicate, away from action, no reason to have it, at all.
a casual would only be confused. A pro would not want to look away from the screen for even 0.1 second.
constantinos schinas 3
agree with u totally
Not all games are FPS games, other advanture style games would have great benefits with this feature.
When does it be available in USA? I wanna buy one in next black Friday
This design is amazing, looking forwards of it :D even though i can't afford
Really cool. Very innovative, prob the first omen laptop I would consider
More reviews on this please!
Apple : "Here's our new macs with touch bar, enjoy." HP: "Hold my screens"
HAHAHAHA
Hold my i9 and my 2080 apple
Are they upgradable? And does the 2nd screen not light up the whole area it actually covered?
I see what you doing after life, Lord Varys, I see you 👀
I told you she gonna burn it all but did you listen? Naw.
Who watched ep 5
Nah he's gone for now.. You betrayed our Queen!!
Na our queen betrayed us
No she's not, her friend died, her child death. What do you expect from someone who already losing so much after do a good thing in the north... And people who know the secret about jon want to destroy her too.. I'm gonna burn the entire kingdom with flame ofc
Absolutely insane.love it
Very nice. Wonder if they will do a 17" version?
they will
Good to know. Thank you.
im only interested in 17 inch laptops too
Not enough power for 17" plus it already expensive as hell with 15"
Finally HP learned from past with DV 6000 and 9000 series laptop overheating problems but this time they really focus on cooling systems that really nice to see
Really good review.
Do they have an app to create programmable function keys on the second monitor?
Ask if its extra and possible to put liquid metal on the gpu as well? At computex and waiting for the videos on that....
I like the 2nd screen it's a cool inovatiin but I think that space could be used for more cooling like one of the previous generations Zephyrus.
Really Really cool !! Thanks Gordon !
I would consider buying this. Also still waiting on your hp reverb to hit the market.
Being new to this stuff. If I was to purchase this thing. How long would you think it would stay relevant in terms of playing the latest games and being VR capable. Because I would hate to pay over $2000 dollars and not be able to play the latest games comfortably 5 years after purchase
Imagine the second touchscreen stretches to the left and right edge of the laptop so it can function more than second screen, it can function as kinda tools to organize many productive stuffs, lists, job desks, reminders, calendar
And asus did it
Can the laptop keyboard be angled up with feet in the back? It seems like that little monitor wouldn't be very visible unless you were sitting straight up all the time.
i wish that that laptop was my gaming laptop. rn i have the 2017 hp omen 17 inch with the amd rx 580. it still is really good when it comes to performance, but that one would be awesome to have on the go. more powerful, way more smaller and lighter than my laptop hands down too
in a stupid voice "is it gonna throttle?" yes, yes it will. it will throttle less than it would With normal TIM, but it will throttle still.
Yeah, he’s a condescending prick that is sponsored hard by HP. Ever since the 8th gen was announced, hard throttling is inevitable and will require undervolting just like *every* laptop today.
Yup that's only 230watts power, really?? 1080ti can alone suck 1000watts
@@divyanshugupta4382 1000w huh? That's complete bullshit.
@@divyanshugupta4382 wtf, no it can't. It has a maximum power draw of like 60W
@@divyanshugupta4382 on the desktop, perhaps With Extreme overclocking. on a laptop it's Limited to 150w.
i was planning to buy Omen 15, but changed my mind and bought a ailenware yesterday. Am i going to regret about it?
does it not dry out and cause problems, also reapplying would be nightmare or even impossible if it gets stuck with cpu
This laptop design is so beautiful and satisfy .............. loved it😍😍
really?
So they put the Omen control center on the second screen... nice. How much will it be selling for?
So are you able to have 3 windows open on a bottom panel or rest of taken space is useless?
Question... Do you can map it as true second screen in extended mode?
How's the build quality feel? Laptops with the hinges close to the center make me a little nervous.
The built quality if Hp is pathetic, most of the parts are made of cheap quality.
And that's a problem when you place your map underneath the screen do I have to look down to see the map there for taking your eyes away from what's going on on the screen
Interesting design, something new for sure.
Again, what is the purpose of mirroring part of the main screen?
I have an Omen from 2018 with a 7th generation i7 and 8GB of RAM and the fan noise seem to rev up playing old games like Abe's Oddysee and I have issues with the charging port. It's currently in repair at my retailer. I might consider selling my Omen and get this one!
Don't trust HP's cooling system. Hope they prove me wrong this time
that's why they went with "Liquid metal" to keep up with the competition "normal" cooling, and don't get me wrong i own the 15 1070 version that i got when it first came out, and my laptop reaching 96+ is a daily thing, under volt and repast doesn't mean anything when the cooling itself is crap... but hey that's why they sold them so cheap edit: they went with a i9... oh boy
R̶y̶u̶u̶ ̶ ̶M̶nK̶ even disabling or limiting cpu turbo boost doesn’t help?
@@mikhail4486 the cpu and gpu boost happends on the fly/automatically, i dont think you can disable that, you can only undervolt them, but recently a lot of people have been saying that undervolting on newer gen laptop doesnt produce any noticeable temp difference which kinda sound scary to me, i dont want my device to run at 90+ degree constant for hours of usage. and also the cooling problem exist in other brand as well, the thing is they can hard throttle that below 80 using bios, but that will severly ruin the overall gaming performance, older HP laptops was locked at 67 degrees which is a total facepalm because 67 is super low and will constantly get the device throttle a lot.
@@chaoticmist1668 ikr i own the same and regret it so bad
@@mikhail4486 it does kinda but what's the point of disabling it or limiting it when you bought the machine to get that performance. You're just crippling your machine by doing so and not justifying the cost
Damn.🔥 I open this beast in an airport, i'm pretty sure i'm going to be followed.
The second screen is neat, but I'm having a difficult time thinking of a good practical use for it..
Watching porn while playing games. There you go.
You can use a phone for anything you’d use the second screen for, idk
Can do the full review of this model..thermal and gaming performance
Is there any program that lets you switch between NVIDIA G-Sync and Optimus?
damn, this seems good. HP stepping up their game.
I just imagine playing Factorio and have the h3 podcast on the second screen.
i wish those bezels and hinges looked like in MSI GS&75 stealth.
Jeez. Would love a 17inch version with a 4k screen and a 99wh battery
I dont like the gap at the hinge, and bezels on dispaly are bigger as well.
Is the main panel a touchscreen?
Pretty cool looking
The aesthetic look is pretty fine.
Is it good for music production?
I had last gen one and already upgraded no throttling maybe little on 90 degree day.
That thing looks sick.
Can we open note taking app on smaller monitor?
Its beautiful!
Hope a 17" version is on the way
Where can I order the Nintendo omen 3ds laptop?
Im not an HP hardcore fan but they really went all out on this one
i think they should make the lifted second screen, who would watch a flat table screen while you on gaming or watching it for hours by put your head straight down
I have the I7 version. And I love my Laptop. One of the best Laptop I ever used.
This thing looks awesome...
5 hr on battery? not very likely to happen on a 8 core g-sync system
Cyrus Xu well, if you watching smt or browsing on Chrome it might be.
samy doe $3k laptop to watch KZhead and Facebook. lol
@@cyang00 you don't have to play video games 24/7 lol
@@cyang00 people paying advance for writing messages on what's up and looking photos on Instagram to buy 2000 foldable phone which brokers itself even without dropping.
Maybe its different for a gaming laptop but to me the track pad is one of the most important things and it looks very compromised, and for what, a second screen that is of very limited use. The location of the keyboard might also be to reduce the amount of heat transfered to the user but there are other ways to do this. This is another one of those 2 steps forward, 2 steps back designs imo and money that could have been used elsewhere.
Either that secondery display needs to be big enough to extend on side or they could just added two more of them on side making 3 display each for different task that would sell very much . Rest of the design is amazing especially the cooling, keyboard, touchpad . I doubt the display hinge is stressed I don't know .
yeah might as well make 3 small screens. Make one drawing board, 2 for viewing pictures, maps and stuff for drawing, gaming, work. Though I would guess it's battery is already super low.
I think this design looks amazing. As good as the Lenovo y740
doing the map thing would be great if you could remove the one from the main screen
Pls where can I buy this?
That's really cool, liquid metal!
Thanks Guys! Would be handy to have a link for more information on these new products from HP ( and lenovo as well!) For me, $3K on an Omen.....I'll pass :)
Omen is bringing ,hp to a new level
" Durr is it gonna throttle is it gonna throttle?" Not sure why that's expressed that way. Seems like one worth asking.
Incredible performance for a portable laptop with good cooling system.
Is it ips pannel?
I’m blown away 😲
what's battery life like?
i lov the second screen!
Love it!! ❤️❤️❤️
Remove the track pad on the right, replace it with a numpad (with full size arrow keys) and then allow the second screen to act as a track pad. Then it'll be perfect. Absolutely perfect in every way for everyone. (Left handed person here)
I bet there will be issues like overheating and early component failure.
Can it run crysis on max settings?
so weird small centered 2nd screen, can they just make it cover the hold glass panel
Second screen is good only if it provide any unique & convenient features. Otherwise most ppl won't use it to maintain performance & battery life.
Asus Zenbook Pro already did it last year... Looks fancy and new... but don't really see the advanrage of the 2. screen :D The Razer Blade 15/17 still on the top of my shopping list :)
Even Razer did it with the first model of the Blade.
Doesn't liquid metal need to be re-applied every year or so, in order to maintain peak performance? Any properly applied thermal paste should give significant gains over what laptop manufacturers do now.
What's the pricepoint?
It will be nice if the bezel of the second screen could be speakers...
