I’m no boat guy by any means but I’ve been on enough boats to know they’re having an absolute blast out there haha especially since it looks like they pretty much have the place to themselves. I’d imagine the next round will be even better lol they’ll have the kinks worked out by then 🤙

Too close to call on the contest. I want to just point out how smart Cleet is to surround himself with good “characters” that not only help him with his fleet, but also the channel. I like all his guys and I think it’s genius to include them in the vids instead of making it all about him. I don’t think most people understand how tough it is to run a BUSINESS like his with all its moving parts, let alone put out entertaining content, he and his crew are doing great!

I think the thing that really makes it, at least to me, is the fact that any one of us could equally see ourselves as the 7th person there... Despite the boat quitting I still give Ty and James the win. The backing down and unloading was impeccable. And despite engine failure, loading still went pretty smoothly. Cleet in second cause dragging the motor is a noob move. And ol freezer burn in last. That loading and unloading was pretty awful.

James and Ty were the the smoothest by far, even the one handed hand turning of the engine while driving the boat (and having the forethought to put a bar in there) 10 points!

How can you not be smooth when you're pushing the boat up the trailer though? Going on the trailer assisted should automatically be worse than the other two that did it themselves.
@@etan125 They didn't load the boat on the trailer correctly. It was too far back. I would be surprised if they didn't notice, and towed it home without first putting it back in the water, and loading it on the right way..... That part was left on the editing room floor, as they used to say.

James said straight up "screw your monster!" 1st Jackstand, good execution even under the pressure of his flywheel potentially not working and seemed to stay pretty cool about his engine and the fireballs from it 2nd: Cleetus with the strapless launch, good ramp approach, a solid runner. 3rd: was george. multiple starts, and he killed James' ice cream, at least his driver did a good job with the trailer.
James all the way, smooth in and most entertaining, Cleetus second, Georgie taking up the rear.

i had same results judging only on the in and out of water and it was neck-n-neck-n-neck. if george would have stuck the landing they would be in first. and if alex wouldnt have stalled the vic and cleet trimmed the motor...suprisingly team jackstand had zero issues with the ramp. scoring i give team jackstand 4.5/5, team cleetcleet 3.5/5 and team jorge 3/5. Gotta root for the underdogs! Team wh0re hay FTW!

It is so great to see Alec, Ty and Zach feel more comfortable infront of camera. Jackstand and George are naturals. As for the competition, James and Ty got the 3 points for entry and exit. Cleetus and Alec 2 points then George and Zach 1 point.

@@matthewtaylor3308 boat crapping out, or not, they had the best entry, even after the boat tried to catch fire, Jackstand stayed cool and collected, and when reloading, even without a motor and doing it by hand, they acted like pros: just another day at the office. That's what being smooth is all about.

@@54raceman cleet couldn't fix his trailer because he spent all his money I'm pretty sure James still has some left. But I do think cleetus should be allowed to pickup some pieces of scrap metal from around the shop and at least put some reinforcements on the trailer.

This video was complete chaos and nothing went to plan and I LOVED IT! Still had a great time with the boys through it all. For the vote I’m gonna have to go split decision overall. If we’re including the unloading and loading of the boats👍🏽
This challenge was launching and retrieving the boats. Nothing was said about how it runs in the river. 1 Jack-stand 2 Flamingo 3 Nightmare Bonus points to George for the Popsicle incident.

@@xogmaster I doubt the BP engine weights that much more than the engine in his boat. It looks like he's currently running iron heads while that BP one likely has aluminum.
Typically when you install a new engine in a boat it’s so you don’t get stranded and that’s rarely the case with blueprint junk

James is a full BLOWN winner and he deserves sprinkles on his ice cream. Had it running before it was in the water so he was ready to party way before and him floating down the river before everyone else, he had to wait. Taking the boat back out the water even if it wasn't running it was calm cool and collected.

Technically James cleared the boat ramp before the fire so someone else could have theoretically started putting their boat in without being held up
1st: Cleetus & Alec 2nd: James & Ty 3rd: George & Zach That stall at the end is gonna be a deduction for Cleetus' team, but based on the flawless entrance I think they still deserve 1st. The scoring was technically on the entrance and exit, not the performance in the water, so James' team gets second. George, sorry buddy but better luck next time. Definitely 1st for personality points tho lol

JAMES #1 for smoothness and also extra points for showmanship. That hot rod was fired up on the way in and off to the prom they went. Criteria was not for once they are in the water, yet. So he gets the smoothest entry and also most exciting looks and ripping noise. Cleat I was eating a sandwhich in the park as your sleeper went in smooth. That said it was not exciting. =) Also James for points with the golf commentary as Cleat and crew loads up.
Alec is consistently the most underrated driver on the channel. From drifting to this, he may just be the most natural talent.
Alright, Here is my vote for scoring for the boat launch challenge: 1st place: James 2nd place: Cleetus 3rd place: George It was a tough call, each of you had pros and cons, not trimming the motor up sealed Cleetus out of 1st place though. Hope to see James jet boat running/starting properly in the next go at doing some challenges on the water, hopefully with less fireballs.

My vote, James 1st, Cleet 2nd, George 3rd. James boat was clear enough from the ramp that others could've used it when it broke, therefore I consider the challenge completes.
This was pretty funny and definitely entertaining. Jack stand needs a flywheel and a timing job. Then his team will take this competition. He was the smoothest into the water even with his starter roulette. I score this one as Jack Stand #1, Cleeter #2 and George #3.
Cletus & Co. have picked up where the original Top Gear program left off. I sat and laughed my ass off, beginning when the first boat came down the ramp. This is great.
James's was the smoothest but because his engine died he defaults his 1st place. George had trouble getting in and getting out. 1. Cleet 2. James 3. George

James - 3 points Cleet - 2 points George - 1 point James's entry was smooth and fast, he drifted away from the ramp pretty fast so didn't bother the next in line at the ramp. The exit was the same and without the help it would still be very smooth. Cleetus's entry was the best but they screwed it up big time by the car stalling on the ramp and having to jumpstart it. George's entry was just not good at all. The exit also took way to long having to try the approach again.

I was starting to think the commenters had forgotten this was about awarding points because I read a bunch of comments before finding a score. I think you nailed it though, so I am going to give the guys the same score. James, Cleet, George. I do think that Cleet is going to have to allow some rule bending before the next stage, as we need all three boats in the competition to max out the enjoyment factor. Plus there is the guy's safety to consider. If James's toothless starter gear lets him down while he is side on to a big wave when they get to the ocean, then the next video he'll be staring in might be Helicopter Paramedics. Perhaps add a penalty system to the scores. James can fix his flywheel and get the timing sorted out, Cleet can make his trailer halfway roadworthy, and George can collect 5 bonus points. (Which he will lose if anyone gets their shin cut to the bone on his Roman Chariot trailer spikes.)
