    • Hiding your accent has nothing to do with speaking proper English. The actress that I was referring too did give her reasons as to why she is doing it. If you know who I am talking about you can check her interviews before she moved to the US. Nomzamo, Black Coffee etc continue to speak with their RSA accent when they do interviews. Kodwake accent or not as long as the person is happy and proud of where she comes from.
