I think it's so cool that she's still herself accent, mannerisms and all.. She's not pushing 🇿🇦 aside
She left yesterday bra 😂
I know but some of these entertainers and even normal people let it quickly go to their heads..If you were born and raised in SA but why the different accent. She's not even trying to tone her SA'ness down which I love
@@JkOrdinarylmao facts I was boutta say the same shit
I’m just enjoying the yahz and sure❤❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Not gonna last long Hollywood occults will get too her
Why was i smiling through out the whole interview
It's Tha voice😂😂gets me to
It’s South Africans man we bring joy to Mother Earth

Tyla lights up the room with her aura. She's not just pretty, she's real too.🔥❣️
South Africans and ‘Yoh!’ We can never be separated 😭🤣🤣
I swear ❤
Same WhatsApp.. Yohhh
Yoh😂,never shem!
Yoh
Yoh wena you telling people about our Solid relationship with that word
She is a breath of fresh air !!! No tattoos, no cussing, and from South Africa is the cudegra. She's epic !!!
SA is proud. Amapiano is well represented even thou she mixes it with Pop. It's amazing to see. 🇿🇦
I feel like that’s been her signature. You remember her song from 2019 or 2020 called Getting late? It’s the same yano meets pop vibe
It's not true Amapiano
Tyla has always been gifted even back in high school. She would always show up & show out during school plays & concerts. I’m so proud of her mahn!!❤️❤️🥹👏🏽👏🏽🇿🇦
Do you know her personally. She seems so authentic. 💜 You see her glowing up like this back then?🥲
MKHAYA ❤❤ SO PROUD OF YOU ❤❤ BUT ❤BECAREFUL❤❤THE INDUSTRIES IS FULL OF ❤ JEALOUSLY ❤❤ AND HYPOCRISY .PLEASE DONT BE MEN'S JUMPING CASTLE ❤❤ NJE!!
It's crazy when you went with to high school with someone and they made it. I went to high school with a guy who made the NFL. A cool and nice guy but huge too.
Im so jealous. I don't know how it feels to know someone whro goes on to be a a famous
I also get the same feeling that she always been comfortable with attention an being in public and on camera
I’m not even African, but her energy makes me so proud and happy.😎
right? but i’m african… 😂

Who else love tyla's accent Let's gather here❤❤
That fusion of Indian, Xhosa and Coloured.
When they ask her about Trevor Jackson 15:13, she started by saying shame, so Shame in a South African slag means sympathy
Not really, she used shame within it's definition. Saying the ppl being mean to Trevor are shameful
@@korqui.p Yes really. We don't use the word shame to shame someone, we use it to express sympathy. We usually say "Ag shame" derived from Dutch.
@@LoriaEvadon2155 I'm not speaking on you. She used it in the context of the definition tho. If the actual words definition is yall slang okay I guess lol
@@korqui.p she definitely didn't mean that😅in South Africa we use the word wrong. Tourists list it in their culture shocks when they visit S.A
We use Shame literally for everything !!!🤣🤣🤣
The fact that she doesn't hide her accent 😊❤❤
Bra she just kame to America yesterday 😂
@@BraveHearted55 my point is in all her interviews or appearances overseas she hasn't tried to change her accent I firmly believe no matter how long she stays over there she won't conform to the accent unless otherwise
What accent is that?
@@laspalms8620south african
@@laspalms8620south African
It’s the fact that she sounds so South African 😂😂😂
Is she supposed to sound like a Ghanaian??
You do know there's a South African actress in the U.S. that hides her accent, she was called out about it
Yes she does sound South African, which is that play accent amongst your peers. This is no South African accent please good people.
@@pheli8209Hides??? Please!!! Just because Tyla chooses the "dope" "street" "play" accent does not make a proper speaking South Africans accent "hiding it"
Hiding your accent has nothing to do with speaking proper English. The actress that I was referring too did give her reasons as to why she is doing it. If you know who I am talking about you can check her interviews before she moved to the US. Nomzamo, Black Coffee etc continue to speak with their RSA accent when they do interviews. Kodwake accent or not as long as the person is happy and proud of where she comes from.
She handled the interview very well, knew herself. Never let others influence her. American radio hosts are weird. Wanting to learn swear words on RADIO!?
It's a adult radio station
Yes. It was disgusting to hear.
Tyla is an intelligent, free spirit sweet young woman. I love her to bits! ❤
My sister that coloured accent is strong Ons is trots op jou Tyla Proud South African
So nice to hear that authentic accent
it's a joburg accent
@@thabangmorwanatv9055as a coloured myself from South Africa i know our English or Afrikaans accent
@@thabangmorwanatv9055NO ITS A DURBAN ACCENT.
@@thabangmorwanatv9055 No. My whole family is from JHB and we don't have this accent. It's coloured.
She's the most nice and real person on the internet
Tyla..never change your authentic self ..you are perfect and so adoreable ...
I'm a father of 2 (27, 21). I must say I'm so proud of this young lady. It's amazing how she is so mature. I wish her all the best. "Gentlemen, your thoughts and speech shall be pure upon this beautiful young lady."

We are sp proud of you girl , a true South 🇿🇦 African we love you 😍 ❤
Is it true that she not famous in S.A & her music isn't known?

She is the full package. She sounds just like her record when she performs live.👍🏼💯🔥
She hit them with a, "Yo guys"!😂🤣
I hope she uses a South African fashion designer. We are so proud of you.
Maxhosa would be great plus he has made stuff for Beyoncé and black panther movie
You know it will be Gert Johan also
@@reyhanajacobs1595 New people would be great. It's ALWAYS the same people.
I would go with Thebe Magugu if I were her. I love them both but I lean towards Thebe because I like that his looks standout.
@@neomathabatha you are telling the truth.
Tyla is a WHOLE VIBE!!!!!
I Love her and she's very well spoken i like how she dodged those negative questions that they asked about family drama and asked her cuss words in her language. Why would they even ask that? i hope that God continues to bless her and her career.
They are in the same city that gave the world Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, & Ice Cube, & you wonder why they would ask some questions like that BIGLOL!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
So proud to be South African thanks Tyla❤
God please protect her spirit cuz the music industry is soooo grimy!! 🙏🏾
This artist is what the industry needs! So many positive cultural vibes and flavor from this young Tyla 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
That 'VOETSEK' was personal🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg I love her. She is so real. Cute. Pretty. You name it. She is it.
She's so south african. Accent on point.
Amazing Coloured girl! She is doing well for the Coloured community back home
Excluding Black South Africans and you mean they do not support her, they prefer other Black artist like Rihanna, Beyonce or Chris Brown and by the way in America she is Black and once she refer herself colored the African Americans will start to reject her because colored in america is a derogatory term.
She's very black cultured if she doing anything for any race its black let that sink in. She's a proud south african i don't think she would use black culture to make coloureds happy. If anything she's more wanting black culture to excel, its the only option available for her if you ask me.
In America we are coloureds funny South Africa is the only country separating coloureds and blacks Where as we not too different from each other and are classified under the same racial group in countries like the UK and America
Can feel her vibes nice mixed girl .
@@ursullahouston9488 She is not mixed, She is COLOURED!
Good that she's keeping it authentic SA accent, expressions and vibe. I grew up there and it gives me a warm feeling listening to her here
