One rule of thumb: if it's a center console with twin engines, it'll easily cost wayyyy over $150k 90% of the time. Triple engines? Probably best to buy it used...😁 And brands like Cigarette or Wellcraft guarantee you'll be paying over six figures without a doubt.

The whole center console thing grates on me. You can bet that if I ever spend $1.2 million on a 43+ foot boat it will have a luxurious interior with comfy staterooms and plenty of room on the fore deck for partying and twin badass diesels to push it to 40+ MPH.

For the number of people commenting about the blurred out flag only shows how many Wavy Boats subscribers also watch this channel. Maybe the Boat Life could offer a dual sponsorship to the BTL! After all both Wavy Boats and Boat Life are making money from recording the BLT girls.
I do not understand the blurring. I am new to these boat channels, I watch a very popular off road recovery channel, they are all cross promoting each other and are friends. I say Boat Life and Wavy meet up for beers, tell stories and cross post to each other as friends. Blurring a "competitors" name out on a flag is kind of silly. Correct me if I am wrong didn't Wavy name them? Go with it, give credit where credit is due and work with each other.

Brokerage i work for just moved a 2 year old 58' for $300k OVER the cost of a new one to another Brokerage simply to put it in inventory (they didnt have a buyer already lined up). Build schedule for a new one if ordered today is mid-late 2023.

Very interesting to watch. I did not know that these boats cost so much. It seems that there are lots of people with lots of money out there. Most of them cost more than my house with some costing 4 times as much.
..Countless factors. Some owned for personal use, some leased for a period of time for a set purpose. Hourly rentals are numerous, with operators included in rental. Tours, consisting of private groups, or a number of individuals for a day, or set hours. Many are company owned and their use equates to 'perks' for employee benefits for retention of 'key valued employees that are highly mobile, difficult to keep... The key is prosperity. With little/no prosperity.. nothing functions.. inlets/lakes/rivers become vacant, fall into disuse and decay... as do cities. ;}

This makes me feel broke haha, my dad had an old 30 - 40 foot stingray fishing boat not sure what kind then sold it for a 40 something foot bayliner sierra it was mint had the full cabin on the front which was way nicer and bigger than anyone i can find online right now, it had a red top with red accents and it had twin props with an beast of an engine onboard under the floor, the boat was amazing but to expensive to keep around so we sold it and got a double wide trailer for our property in the bush, miss boating

Not yet but I am sure they are coming.
Living in the Pacific N.W. I run the Columbia Bar in the summer for fishing. It can get pretty sloppy. I've run it for years in everything from a 16' with 40hp outboard to a 34' with twin 454's. It wasn't until some years later watching a National Geo show that rated it as one of the most dangerous Bars that I thought much about it. I have seen a few of these videos and looks as bad or worse. We don't seem to have nearly the fools who can't command their vessels though. I am horrified by the lack of skill & negligence of a lot of these skippers. We also do not see the boats over 24'-26' with outboards, let alone more than 2. During salmon season we see a lot of strange stuff in the river just prior to the bar though. The river gets pretty sloppy as well.

During these times, 'big' pharmaceuticals own countless, tax exempt (costs of doing.. business) boats, aircraft, retreats, hotel suites..., islands. Employees, officers and customers of significance, are the PAX ;}
