In this episode:
Western nations long interpreted Hitler's radical foreign policy as a repudiation of the Treaty of Versailles. Thus, the National Socialists used the years from 1936 to 1938 to prepare for the next war.
The Third Reich lasted for 12 years, 3 months and 9 days. It began with great hopes and unprecedented jubilation and ended after a world war in which 50 million people were killed, and Germany was destroyed. This documentary series embarks on a unique journey through the bleakest chapter of German history, tracing the story of the Third Reich and painting a picture of the Nazi dictatorship behind the propaganda by utilizing what, in some cases, is previously unpublished footage.

Excellent documentary. One can enjoy the superb professional narration, unlike the homemade docs where a wife or whoever narrates terribly or worse, yet when a computer is relied upon to narrate
The amount of power hate can give someone is terrifying. Running a political campaign on hate, and winning the campaign, is even more terrifying.
Just when I thought that I had seen everything worth seeing about the Reich, this excellent documentary comes along. Given the state of things in the US at present, this series could not be more timely. Thanks to all who have made this work available.

Interesting perspective that it was, in large part, financially motivated
If the French would have attacked the German troops that entered the demilitarized zone of the Rhineland, the German underground could have moved to the fore and the world might have avoided the war and the Holocaust.
