  • There are so many documentaries of this type and yet I like watching them all because each one will have little details that the others don't. It's just amazing that a country as civilized as Germany, the place to be if you were a scientist or an artist or a poet etc., should have fallen into such barbarity.

    • I agree with you - each documentary has a slightly different slant/take/a new detail. It’s quite amazing there is always something new to discover. Thank you for stopping by and leaving such an insightful comment.

  • Great documentary but I have to call you out on one thing. 47:56 - Goering wasn't merely aware of "any wrong doing", he was a key instigator of the Holocaust. Perhaps he CLAIMED to be unaware, but in reality he was extremely aware, and in favour of, the atrocities.

    • Stalin INVADED Poland from the East. On 17 September 1939, the Soviet Union invaded Poland from the east, 16 days after Nazi Germany invaded Poland from the west. Subsequent military operations lasted for the following 20 days and ended on 6 October 1939 with the two-way division and annexation of the entire territory of the Second Polish Republic by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. This division is sometimes called the Fourth Partition of Poland. The Soviet (as well as German) invasion of Poland was indirectly indicated in the "secret protocol" of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signed on 23 August 1939, which divided Poland into "spheres of influence" of the two powers.

  • Very intriguing to see how Hitler proclaimed Heiss as delusional ☺️ something many would say about Hitler years afterward. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I think both were delusional as to Heiss plan to appeal such negotiation with British, but at least he was one of the few of Fuhrer inner circle who had a sense of what to come with two fronts war & that Hitler had stepped out too far at that time, at that stage.
