VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Grant is the proud owner, designer, and builder of this 1997 fire rescue ambulance tiny home. With a full-time job that kept him busy, it took a year and a half to complete this DIY project. He removed most of the original cabinetry and renovated the remaining parts. The gorgeous kitchen has a Black Walnut live edge piece amplified with two Manzanita branches and a stunning copper sink. The dining table swivels and drops into a bed that sits for a perfect view of the 50-inch TV screen. Ambulances naturally come with abundant exterior space, and Grant used every bit of it! He also added a massive umbrella roof deck, making it perfect for sunny days and start nights!

This is absolutely stunning!
What about a bathroom?
I wondered if you made the kitchen counter so low so you could use it sitting down. The way the copper sink blends with the color of the wood is beautiful. I just love the tree shelves. And the placement of the TV looks great as well. All in all, it is a great rig, but I would add a shower/toilet.
Really nice build. Love the storage. Very pretty, but no bathroom! I don't get it but I guess not everyone needs one?
It’s unbelievable how much you did with one small amount of space. WOW
Not only is this rig beautiful, but is was so nice hearing your voice and everything you had to say. Your smile and kindness is delightful!
My Goodness it is Beautiful, unique of course and looks strong . I am a girl we like our showers, bathrm. To each their own and your build reflects your artistry! That's what counts! Thank You for sharing.Your build is So Beautiful!
Great build. 😍 But why no bathroom/toilet?
Not needed besides he could always get a compost toilet and diaper genie and rag baths and wash hair in the sink or qwik trip open 24hrs
It is SO nice. Only thing wrong, is that the kitchentable/Counter is too low.
Ewoks is the dopest part ..don’t see to many tiny homes with vintage toys
IKR! Kind of inspiring me to add something more than garden gnomes to my back yard.
When I retire early, I will spend a year traveling the U.S. with my wife in an RV!
You should do it while you both can move without pain. Just a word of wisdom
Great idea!
@@margobowen304 We are on track to retire by 36 and are very active!
Unless you buy an expensive rv it will fall apart. Either build one or make sure it is one for living and traveling. Guess you prob know that. Good luck with your plan to retire early.
Why 1 year? Why not more?
This is sooo Kool . Loving the beautiful Brown/ mahogany live wood . ❤️
Wow absolutely gorgeous, I hope you have many happy travels in it.
That is one beautiful DIY ambulance! Nice work
Love the live edge w/shelves!
That is SOOO SWEET that he built it out with his kids in mind! 💗🥹 And that’s a terrific build! So much to love! I especially love those shutters and that wood detailing! Very nice work!
sign above sink is genius!
The roof is amazing!!
Best ambulance build I've seen. Love it!!!!!
This is one of the nicest builds I have seen!
Beautiful & very unique. Love the sink and countertop. As a short girl...I love the height of it. Have fun & safe travels.
You nailed this is a terrific build great job
Glad he loves it!! Well thought out for his use. Id like an inside or outside shower and a toilet somewhere in it. But he loves it and thats what matters
An absolute stunning build. I have never seen anyone do it with these van and ambulance conversions, but take a flat screen TV mount it on the wall and put a camera on the outside. Voila! A window! One could even frame it as a window, and/or use as a TV.
That's a cool idea! 🤩
Awesome! I swore I saw this very same build a few weeks ago on another channel. It's interesting seeing the same builds covered by different youtube channels.
Beautiful Build Beautiful Person ❤
That's a really awesome job you did on that I'm totally impressed
Wow..stunning conversion😍
IT's all so good, but that counter top is so amazing! I would have never thought of doing that. Just brilliant!
The little Ewoks! I wore my Ewok socks today too. This is a great tiny place.
Absolutely gorgeous
That is without a doubt the most beautiful kitchen ive seen in an rv. No contest.
The black walnut live edge is absolutely gorgeous.
Nice work on your ambulance Renovation 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍
Congratz with your outstanding beautifull rigg!!! Go on the road and feel the freedom...

He did an incredible he has the perfect get away oasis wow love the deck 😊
Very nice built love it in and out.💯👍
love the design! I always get amazed when it's someone from your own backyard! (like lived in Hayward when he built it...but am now in Sac, Ca).
Great work and thanks for sharing. God bless you and yours.
You are sure a minimalistic but this is awesome. Outstanding work and looks so cool. I would use this is a heartbeat!! Great job and thanks for sharing.
Totally amazing. Great job.
Fun stuff.. Yup. I'm currently trying to figure out where I'm gonna store those things in my build. Mine like dry heat, no condensation. Trials, and tribulations.. 😂
Very nicely done. Looks incredible. ❤
This is Beautiful!
What an #Outstanding built... #Classic is the right word... #GoodJobDone ... stay Blessed
ok, right off the bat I asked my husband what he thought......no way would either of us have those knobs sticking out at the sink.............nope, lol You do have some great ides......nice job.
Beautiful conversion
I love everything. And those shelves with tiny ewoks just makes me smile ;)
Beautiful build!!
Beautifully done! ✅
Really cool. Nice guy too
Great job 👏
Incredible!!!
Amazing! Great taste, great skills. If there's a nicer van conversion out there, I'm yet to see it. Well done!
Very beautiful build
This is so awesome!!
Wow. Realy cool. , hope ube happy.
Very beautiful cool build
amazing build
He did a really great job. But I have the impression the kitchennette and the ceiling aren't high enough for him.
I love this...
Really nice!
very nice rig
I love the branches.
Awesome!!!!!
Very nice very well done
How did you do that ceiling??? I love it!!!!!
I am always amazed how people can build-out these rigs! Beautiful finishes. Since I would need a shower I would utilize the shower between those two outside doors where water tanks are. Hot water heater, larger supply of water though would be needed. As long as weather wasn't too cold it's manageable. Composting toilet/bucket would suffice. Did I miss a cooktop? Am surprised you can't stand up in your rig. Maybe others with ambulances weren't 6ft tall. Did you raise floor at all?? Would you tell how much you spent on truck before remodeling?? Then total afterwards?? How many miles on it?? Can anyone tell me if wood counters are heavier than laminate... I wouldn't go with quartz etc. Thanks to anyone who can answer any ?'s I have. Good luck, enjoy, safe travels.
cool style looks nice 👍
Gorgeous 🥰💞💥
wow cool style good job 👍👍👍👍
THE EWOKS! I'm ded. lol I love it.
Very nice👍🏼
Amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰.
Very nice
Agghhh, I want it 🤗❤️
wow!!!
I like that, nice😮
do all the external storage lock
Nice build! Congrats on the completion of it. I agree with some others regarding a toilet. Gotta have at least a honey pot for those times when a bathroom isn’t immediately available, or when you don’t feel like going outside to find a place to take a dump, or especially on those occasions where something you eat doesn’t agree with you and you need immediate release in an enclosure so you don’t splatter your socks! I would also at least want an outdoor shower, or one of those solar bag showers you can hang in those cheap shower/toilet tents. If it’s just you and your son, you don’t really have to shower very often as long as you have wipes to occasionally clean up your ass and ball juice. Not sure how you cook, but assume you have something, otherwise eating uncooked food can lead to the splatter on your socks event. That’s a nice set up you have on the roof. Other than some type of toilet, looks like a fairly comfortable place to live.
What did you do to get the ceiling like that? So cool.
Hi My name is Pamela, I just love you’re tiny home. I have a question your countertop that you made? Do you ever make coffee tables or end tables to sell? Sorry sir I don’t mean to be blunt. I, would love to have a coffee table in my home just like your countertop. please let me know if you make them and sell them? Sincerely, Pamela, ✝️😇🙏🏼
Very unique and interesting camper van.your channel works great. I have also a channel with Indian and other music systems
Did you ever think you didn't need a toliet? What is dry camping? Are those lawn chairs and umbrella removable?
Dry camping is boondocking, which means camping where you don’t have access to either a power hookup or fresh water.
I might have misssed it, but how many watts of solar do you have on the top?
💓
I'm sorry you have to deal with such awful neighbors, but awesome build.
There is no way he bought this for less than a bus. He wasn't looking hard enough if he thinks skoolies cost to much
If you want a newer flat nose pusher it is 😂 but I would want a new flyer bus since I used to work there and repairs would be easy
@@godkingoftoxicity7037 that's an unfair apples and oranges comparison
👍👍👍
My fifteen-year-old said he doesn't want to pay rent so I'm obsessed with tiny houses so why not vehicles so he can travel anywhere rent free
It is beautifull, but the counter is very low to his size, it doesnt look comfy for him. But stunning build
Wow it’s lovely,but I’d add a bathroom there’s plenty of room
It really is a work of art inside! 🤩
Impressive work; since these conversions are something you drive around, I hear you are having to make constant repairs. Is this true?
Just like a car proper maintenance and you won’t need repairs except for parts that go after a certain time or mileage but I didn’t mind it because I replace oem parts with high performance parts I love when stuff breaks just means I get an upgrade
Nice but would have to have a bathroom
Totally get that! Here's a link to another ambulance tour that has a full bathroom, in case you'd like to check it out. 🙂kzhead.info/sun/m5agosito6StZXA/bejne.html
