I used to believe in giving people the benefit of doubt, and more often than not, I feel disappointed with them but not surprised! People don't change much intrinsically unless they want to and you can't wake somebody up when what they want is to sleep! Giving the benefit of doubt should be rendered with caution!

I am going to write down every single one of these and put them all over where I can see them all the time. I spent the entire night crying. I'm exhausted. 66 years old. You would think I would know better. ❤ I did however teach myself how to crochet a granny square tonight while sobbing, so on the bright side I kept learning despite feeling worthless.

I needed this, I am walking away from 30 years of was not being in love but comfortable! I know this nothing is perfect and I know that, but I know walking away with what is in my car I can pray that he understands this and doesn’t hate me but be happy for me that I am living my life whatever happens and that my grown son will be proud of me for finally being able to walk away, I have failed before and walked back through the door the same day that stops! I Have stopped doing things before my own genuine needs. I am not a burden because I have spine issues, I am a warrior b/c i am still walking and complain less than others. I have learned that the most important person's expectations to live up to are my own. You can't be a victim if you get rid of the abuser. we are always growing and my seeds and water is for me. I will share with someone only after my supply has replenished with an emergency stash. I have genuine empathy but I won't be weak ever again.
