No, it was a game. Thematically it wasn’t very complex or thought provoking. Gameplay was pretty fun but nothing jaw dropping or addicting, would probably play again. It was JUST a game. Nothing more. It has some dated flaws too

Honestly the PS2 had some of the best games of any console generation DMC1/3, God of War, Final fantasy X/XII, Kingdom hearts I/II, metal gear solid, sly cooper, ratchet and clank, Rouge galexy etc.

This has to be the only thing I remember from DMC in general from my childhood. It was such an overload of adrenaline and overwhelmingly furius gameplay that I forgot about most of it. But this song remained. Gotta love it. If this track does not define the entire saga, I don't know which will.

I think the design of DMC 3 has the perfect balance between aesthetic & demonic architecture, DMC 4 imo is the best looking game out of the series. The world design is phenomenal, and Nero's introduction is awesome.

I never really noticed how much of a genre bending piece of art this is. You've got the whole Requiem bit going on, starts off with like a fugue section, Then it busts into some sort of industrial dnb hybrid and spice things up with a little 303 acid bass to boot.

No, it was a game. Thematically it wasn’t very complex or thought provoking. Gameplay was pretty fun but nothing jaw dropping or addicting, would probably play again. It was JUST a game. Nothing more. It has some dated flaws too

This has to be the only thing I remember from DMC in general from my childhood. It was such an overload of adrenaline and overwhelmingly furius gameplay that I forgot about most of it. But this song remained. Gotta love it. If this track does not define the entire saga, I don't know which will.

I think the design of DMC 3 has the perfect balance between aesthetic & demonic architecture, DMC 4 imo is the best looking game out of the series. The world design is phenomenal, and Nero's introduction is awesome.

I never really noticed how much of a genre bending piece of art this is. You've got the whole Requiem bit going on, starts off with like a fugue section, Then it busts into some sort of industrial dnb hybrid and spice things up with a little 303 acid bass to boot.
Just the best game in the series.
