Cake in 1 minute! You will make this cake every day, every weekend, every time your friends come to you. A simple and delicious cake recipe you will like, a combination of delicious apples and fluffy dough, mmm ... what could be better. Ingredients and recipe:
4-5 apples
I grew these apples myself
2 eggs
100g sugar
100 ml milk
60 ml vegetable oil
200 g flour
5 g baking powder
vanillin
1-2 tsp icing sugar
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 180 ° C

  • This cake is a type of Russian Sharlotka. One note: it tends to taste better with sour apples like granny smith. The cake still ends up sweet, but there's more depth of flavor.

    • YES!!!!!!!!! I've been making this cake since I was about 11, but when asked about it, I couldn't explain because the internet apparently didn't know what a "Charlotte" cake was. I guess translations and names are tricky 😂.

  • Flip this cake! It’s gorgeous! I added cinnamon, nutmeg and walnuts and used vanilla extract instead of vanillin. When it was done, I brushed the top (apple side up) with butter and garnished with a little sugar. It’s amazing!

    • Make sure you do not add the eg whites at the beginning. Keep them separate and beat them separately. Spoon them in with the flower at the end and do not mix!!! Just do it with a large spoon. Trust me.

  • My grandpa used to make this cake when I was little. The only difference is he used apple sauce instead of oil and flipped it as an upside down cake. Thank you for sharing this!

    • @@pamelah6431 Coconut oil is 90% saturated fat which is higher than in butter, beef fat or lard. It raises bad cholesterol which can lead to risks of heart diseases. Use poly or mono unsaturated oils which are healthier like canola, rapeseed, corn or sunflower oils. Olive oil is a bit too strong for baking but is very good for you.

  • I made this recipe. It’s excellent. Took me 30 minutes from start to putting in oven. It’s a cross between a cake and a bread. I peeled the apples, my family prefers that. I used Gala apples. Tried it with Granny Smith, and it was too tart, too wet.

  • I wrote the recipe/steps for those who want to try this. I'm a very experienced baker and added a few personal notes to the recipe. Apple cake 4-5 apples (less if your apples are very large, I like honey crispy) 2 eggs 100g sugar 100 ml milk 60 ml vegetable oil (I prefer avocado oil because it has zero residual flavor) 200 g flour 5 g baking powder 1 tsp Vanilla (instead of the vanillin) 1-2 tsp icing sugar Remove core (and skin if wanted) and chop apples into bite size. Beat the eggs with the sugar until it gets lighter in color and frothy. Add the oil, vanilla and milk. Mix well. Sift flour with baking powder and add to liquid. Mix in low speed until well blended and the batter has a ribbon consistency. Add apples to a springform pan, bottom lined with parchment paper and sides buttered. Add batter on top of apples and spread evenly. Lightly tap pan on counter to pop any air bubbles and spread the batter. Bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 180C/350F. Cool slightly and remove from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Notes: You may toss the apples with cinnamon sugar before adding to pan. Some apples are very watery and this will affect the recipe. You can use a different pan, account for pan size when baking. Smaller pan will need extra time, bigger pan will bake faster.

    • @@tony2029 a 9 inch pan. If you use a different size, adjust for time. Ovens also vary. I know mine bakes faster, so I start checking a few minutes before the recipe call for being done. For my oven, anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes before depending on recipe.

  • This is my go-to recipe when I have guests, and everyone always loves it, and asks for a second slice . I changed it slightly, and I believe my version also tastes great. Here are the changes: I mix apples with cinnamon, and I prefer sour apples over the sweet ones. Sweet-sour taste of apples with cinnamon add depth to its taste. I also use powdered sugar for a smoother texture, and 125gr butter instead of oil. I melt the butter beforehand. Guten Appetit! ❤️

    • Yes, it takes 3 minutes to chop, 10 to get the ingredients measured, 5 to mix as directed, hope you start the oven at the beginning, then 35-40 minutes to bake, some period to cool, then 3 minutes to sprinkle on sugar. That's about an hour and I don't get an hour to bake everyday... Is there a magic time portal for baking if you learn German? ...because if there is, I'll do that if that's part of what you get.

  • I am going to try this with coconut oil, brown sugar, and whole wheat flour instead because that's all I have right now. I will add a lot of cinnamon! Let's see how it turns out! Update: I made this cake and it turned out amazing even with my different ingredients. The only thing I would change is next time I would add even more cinnamon, and also I would chop the apples much more finely/beautifully

  • I’m trying this today but will use vanilla extract instead of synthetic vanillin. *UPDATE Just made this today -( 1 month later ) I used green apples, sprinkled some dark brown sugar, chopped pecans & cinnamon over the apples. Like jackfruit, Red bananas, rose apples, Gauva etc..   • Just made this cake, swapped milk for oat milk (as I didn't have dairy milk on hand) and used a dash of vanilla essence instead of vanillin. I also did a sprinkle of raw sugar over the top after it had finished baking (before cooling) to give it a little crunch at the top and sweet it up a little more without the icing sugar. Turned out wonderful. I recommend leaving the cake in the tin until cooled so it keeps its shape, and then flipping it if you've laid the apple slices nicely at the bottom before baking - then add the raw sugar on top of that (just won't melt a little)

    • I was hoping that he or she had American English sub-titles - My Aunt gave me this recipe and I think he should of worded it Fast and Easy - I use to make this with Granny Smith Apples and Golden Delicious or Gala and Macoun Apple's. I just can't remember the amounts of egg's, flour, sugar, baking powder or is it baking soda and I remember adding 1/2 tsp almond extract & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and 1/8 tsp for each of cinnamon, nutmeg, & ginger -- I loved this Apple Cake Recipe -Pretty Please, If you can translate the amounts for me I would truly appreciate it
