  • the fact that the kid literally turned into a watermelon and none of the kids cared or even looked at him like he is weird kind of tells me this is a common problem in this world. it kind of worries me the other kids literally saw their friend turn into a watermelon, didn't care, didn't ask where a random watermelon came from, and just ate his corpse without any remorse is kind of scary. also what would it feel like to be slowly turned into a watermelon, just your organs growing and turning into plants and eventually your brain would be completley transformed and you would die. also i know this story about a guy who was eating peas and a pea went into his lung and grew inside of it

  • Actually, when you eat a watermelon seed, they move through your digestive tract without being digested, so watermelon seed are perfectly safe to eat.

    • That's only half the truth. The shells of black watermelon seeds are not just indigestible, but also hard and sharp. That can cause injuries if you ingest too many for the body to surround them with softer matter on the way through the digestive system. With Watermelons being almost entirely water and hardly any tissue, that's easier to do than you think. It's not a smart move to risk getting half-digested feces and intestinal bacteria into the bloodstream. However, if you chew them properly, Watermelon seeds contain valuable nutrients that would be a waste to just flush down the toilet undigested, or toss into the garbage.
