In this review we see if Corsair have been able to make a great mouse without covering it with RGB LEDs. Will this finally allow them to be in the same conversation as the big boys of gaming mouse manufacturers? Available on Amazon: geni.us/AvwMtH (aff)

I have been using this mouse daily for almost 1 year and a half. It's really an amazing mouse, light, and with nice grip (at least for my hands) and my hand doesn't hurt after many hours of continuous usage. About the RGB lights, I really love this mouse at that, because I can just set it on the mode I want, and it will stay forever the same, without the need of having installed the iCUE. The preset is saved on mouse's memory, and it will stay as it is until you decide to change it. The cable is really nice too, light, and more like a cord than a cable. Now, the BAD things about it.. Its damn wheel. For me, it's a little too soft on the feeling, but that's nothing special of a problem. The real problem with it, is that it stoped working as expected after almost 1 and a half year after I got it. You try to scroll down and up, and It will either 1) scroll down-up as expected, 2) miss some scrolls and 3) scroll to the opposite direction. Ok, now imagine all these 3 occasions, at once. I never hit it or smt, it's just something that this mouse has, and many other users have also the same problem. I really liked that mouse, but having to deal with such a problem, after such a sort period of time, has really changed my opinion about it. I still like it, but I wouldn't buy it, if I knew that I would have to change it so soon. Its sensor works perfect, and all the other buttons work perfect too, the wheel is the only thing that doesn't. The button on the wheel works fine, it's only the scrolling with the problem. Thankfully I won it on a giveaway, and I didn't spend my money on it. I wrote this comment just to make other people think of it a little more, after deciding to buy it.
This product has 2 year warranty according corsair web site.
@@renatocabral9040 wow.. a year passed already It has a two year warranty, but, you have to send the mouse at their service, at your own expense. At least, that's how it is in Europe. The shipping cost for me, would be probably 20-30€, which is enough, to just get a new mouse.
Also, when I contacted corsair, asking them about any possible warranty that I could have, since I didn't buy the mouse, but instead, won it from a giveaway, they only offered to replace it with a refurbished one. Not a totally new product. Yea, since I didn't spend any money to get it, I shouldn't expect any more than that, but still, I'm considered a customer. Other companies would replace it with a totally new one, without any further talking.
Amazing review!!
Fantastic video thanks!
I'd be curious what kind of response you'd get from Corsair if you tried to RMA the mouse, or if it's really a defect (same for the scroll wheel)
Wow with this mouse I can chuck it gamer rage and still fire at my enemies!
deffo a major step forward for Corsair I have always hated the look of their mice but this doesn't disgust me, m1 and 2 activating is totally fucked though
Nice video. I appreciate the humor and ability to playfully criticize without being mean or dismissive. I was really glad to see this mouse when it first came out; it seemed to get a LOT right in feature consideration and design. I think they're _finally_ starting to slowly step away from that childish aesthetic on their other products, which would be a good thing because they've always been capable of very handsome, mature designs when they want to. The Mouse 3 button actuating when pressing to the right isn't a feature, it's just what almost every single mouse does because of how they're built. Encoder on the left that the scroll wheel itself anchors into, switch on the right that the barrel rests upon. Unless the wheel sits in a cradle assembly like on many Logitech and Roccat mice, it's tilting to the right when you press it. It's bonkers that people make stuff up like it being a feature, haha
praise praise praise
