  • I've looked at a BMW X5 4.8 2007 for sale with 92K miles as its LEZ compliant but Ive heard that particular engine is problematic.

    • I was having the same dilemma last week! In the end, I chickened out and got the 3.0D mainly because I'd be using it for trailering and I already have my weekend warrior. Gotta love the e53 though.

    • The N62B48 and N62B44 engines in the LCI E53's are more reliable than the pre facelift M62 engines which suffer fron timing chain guide problems. These cars are a moneypit and they do have gremlins but they are special.

    • I was just driving a 4.4 with the M62B44 engine yesterday and I’m sorry bro it doesn’t sound anything as good as a N62B48. I have had all of the V8 E53s the 4.8is sounds much better than the rest of them. 👍🏽

    • Не знаю на каком ты м62 ездил, но я слушал отличные симфонические оркестры от м62, и слушал n62, так вот, м62 с правильным выхлопом делает раскаты грома среди ясного неба 😂
