This is our hit of the SD era. A film about marshy, inaccessible areas of Poland that are teeming with life. You will certainly not forget the beautiful mating dance of cranes, scenes of deer rutting, photos of moose, extraordinary sunsets and countless birds by the water.
The film won many international awards.
Script: Tomasz Ogrodowczyk
Commentary: Tomasz and Michał Ogrodowczyk
Directors: Tomasz and Michał Ogrodowczyk

  • Hello ! How beautiful and so wonderfully filmed with deep understanding of the subject. The mixing of mammals with wild birds and flora makes this film particularly remarkable. The photographers and nature specialists obviously worked very well together and even though it is an older documentary it is perfect. I just hope the situation for nature has not deteriorated since then. Thank you for this wonderful film. Thank you also for the Voice over in clear and pleasant English. I hope many viewers will appreciate this film as I do. I do thank you for showing us so much natural beauty.

  • Hi, I really appreciate all the specific details you give, such as species names, temperatures that certain plants can withstand, how they interact with other species in their ecosystem, and how Poland's laws tie into all this. As an ecology student this is very valuable information and it makes you one of my favourite resources for self study :) thank you for all that you do. Also love the silly background music lol
