Whenever I text him or call him just to talk casually, he often tells me off and gets rude mid convo. Then after 2-3 hours after I've cried, he messages me and says, "Hey Jelly I'm sorry if I was rude its just that I'm not feeling the best these days, I have too much on my plate right now." This has happened like, 5-6 times within the past 3 weeks. Guess what happened today! I messaged him and he said his mum was feeling down. I asked him to go talk to her, and he said "Keep it to yourself that's a stupid advice." Just like you, I'm an ENFJ, and I tend to help everyone. I get sad as heck when someone says rude about my advice. I told him that he sounded rude, then he suddenly flips the conversation and said, "Baby it's oKaYyYyY I was just angry. I've tried talking to her already so your advice wasn't of much use." I refused to talk to him and told him I was mad that he said that. Then he does this- He says, "Seriously your standard is too high for relationships" I was like, where did standard come from?! Then he says, "Honestly you don't even deserve this treatment. first of all, i know you already said you blocked him, but if you havent actually broken up with him, you need to tell him that the way he talks to you isnt acceptable and if he cant actually RESPECT you, then the relationship is over. if he keeps apologizing but doesnt change, then those are fake apologies and i think you gotta get out of there. maybe he is going through a little something, but if he takes his anger out on you, youre definitely allowed to be upset and you have every right to leave. well assuming you already broke up with him, i just want to let you know that you made the right choice. dont let anyone make you feel bad for having standards- your bf sounds kinda rude and treating you with respect is literally the bare minimum. your standard is NOT too high for relationships, you are just looking for the right treatment- and you should keep your standards up and never settle for a guy that doesnt treat you right. if he thinks you dont even deserve this treatment, then HE doesnt deserve YOU. its ok to be sad about it, thats natural and anybody else would be sad too. give yourself time to heal, but just remember that you made the right choice and you do deserve better. maybe another better guy will come into your life and give you the love that you deserve, but for now, take your time to grieve, but when youre done allow yourself to heal :)
