  • The foam cleanser at the end is originally from the 60's. Developed in 1965, it was called Crazy Foam. It's purpose was to make bath time more fun for kids. I remember playing with it! (don't tell anyone I'm old). It's fun to see someone bring it back. Big Hugs

  • The thrive mascara takes a couple hours to fully dry and set. It comes off in tubes. Hourglass also makes one that does comes off in pieces so you don’t get the smears.

  • I love Thrive Causemetics mascara! Maybe you didn’t let it dry long enough? Did you take it off shortly after putting it on? When I take it off at the end of the night, it definitely comes off in tubes. I like it because I have sensitive eyes that can’t handle usual mascara and also hate when my mascara smudges. It does sometimes flake off a bit later in the day, but it’s definitely my favorite mascara I’ve used.

  • The thrive mascara is my FAVORITE!!! I’ve been using it for yearssss. It’s so much easier to remove compared to other mascaras. My lashes have thanked me for not having to tug and rub them to get mascara off since I switched.

My coworkers from Nordic countries call me "brunette" but my friends from South France insist I am "blonde". I also grew up where brunette was specific to rich dark chocolate colored hair, mine was called "dirty dirty dirty blonde" or "straw". I think the salon term for the shade is "ash blonde/brown"

  • For the Thrive mascara, you were supposed to get the Liquid lash extensions tubing one. Looks like you got the Liquid lash volumizer one. I got the tubing one and it comes off literally just like the one on the lady in the ad. I love it bc i have barely there pitiful lashes and it makes my lashes look amazing!

  • As a muslim, the mascara is great for us because we can take it off easily when we have to pray. I have a few mascara like that, labelled as “wudu friendly”. No more hassle of taking off those stubborn mascara when I have to pray especially when I’m not at home. Just wet it, wait a little bit and voila!

  • I love watching Hopes videos these are very cool products. Just the only one I’m confused with is the tan. When she showed putting each of them on she put the illusion on the left leg and the other brand on the right but then in the end clip illusion she said illusion was on her right leg and the other brand on the left so I’m confused on that. They still look good just confused with the sides. I definitely might try some of these products though

  • 3:36 For the custom tanner, I want to see someone purchase two different custom tans from them and see if they look any different when washed off and developed. My understanding of the ingredients that make self tanner is that they can't really be tweaked to have a different end result tone. It's just the color of the foam itself (which is just there so you know where you're applying) that could be changed. There's another brand that has you take a quiz to see which tan product you should get from them...but they only have one product that they recommend for everyone. 😆

  • 11:36 thermo tubbing mascara was a thing like, ages ago? I remember buying Sensai around like, 2010. When it's proper thermo tubbing mascara (which the one in the video is obviously not), it can be removed by warm water without actually smudging, but the water should be about 38 Celsius (warmer than normal human body temperature). There was a time in 2010s when nearly all Korean makeup brands had mascara like this

  • 12:21 I use L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Lengthening Mascara $10 at Walmart, $14 at Ulta and it does the same thing. I like it because it's easy to remove and doesn't irritate my eyes. It does come off in tubes and it much nicer then that one.

  • You have to let the mascara dry. I have it, it's the best mascara I have ever had. No smudge and it doesn't fall under my eyes making it dark after a couple of hours. The best mascara

  • I've been using the Thrive mascara for a couple years now, and I'll never use anything else! It is a game changer for sure. It comes off easily with warm water, yet does NOT smudge or give me raccoon eyes. It is THE best mascara out there!

  • If you want a mascara that actually comes off in tubes I got one from ultra’s in house brand that did what she showed in the videos. It was SO convenient and wasn’t clumpy, plus it was like $8 I’d wear it as a base to get my mascara off without hurting my eye lashes

  • The mascara that comes off in tubes is "tubing mascara". A bunch of different brands make it and they do work. They're great if you have sensitive eyes. The one she purchased was just a regular mascara though. For the jelly soaps, they'll last longer if you don't submerge them in water. Just wet your hands or face and apply the dry jelly soap to it. They do break down quicker than normal soap, but the drier you can keep them, the longer they'll last. The animal shapes are super fun and cute! I'll definitely check those out and know my kid would love them too.
