I'm glad I took the time to do this, since it's made me a lot more comfortable with Dante in general, both playing as and fighting him. It's still painfully obvious where I need practice, though, but for now I'm going to leave this fight alone.

I've never seen SDT Dante being staggered like at 5:52 But it also looks like a bug I think since Jugemend staggers any enemy in the game, he just gets the normal Dante stagger animation

5:50 ive never seen this is my first time seeing SDT Dante getting staggered which hes supposedly to be immune to that during that form, only SDT Vergil can be staggered from it
I think it's during the initial phrase same with Vergil Judgment cut, but you can by transforming, bug?

Can you tell me how do you practice this kind of fight? Do you use a trainer, some kind of mod or just keep playing the specific boss fight mission ? How do you know what moves counter/make stop the Dante/Vergil/Any Other Boss fight moves? Awesome content btw !
Thanks! The current co-op trainer has an option to swap out the mission 19 and 20 bosses with Dante or Vergil, and that's what I used here. For bosses that are at the end of missions, I usually restart from the checkpoint before them repeatedly to practice the fights. I sometimes use Bloody Palace, but unfortunately I don't know of a way to force the BP bosses into DMD mode, so the practice in BP can't always be applied to the actual DMD fight. As for what moves to use to counter, I mainly just guess and check. Practice usually goes in 3 stages; experimentation (where I test a bunch of ideas against the boss and see what works and when), practice (where I try and make the counters I end up choosing more consistent to perform), and waiting for a good run where the enemy AI uses enough of their moves that I can show off a good amount of those practiced sequences.
