Glorious Model O Wireless Review

At 69 grams, the Model O Wireless is an achievement in ultralight mice, but with the poor battery life (71 hours advertised with lighting off, less than half that with lighting on) and potential tracking issues, I have a hard time outright recommending it as a buy.
Thanks for watching!

  • Your videos are very good and I appreciate your honesty. Do you think you will ever make a tech video about Audeze Penrose headphones? What do you think of the continuous white background noise emanating from these types of headphones?

  • The reason why people go wireless is so they dont have to worry about the cable dragging or u snagging on ur mouse bungee. There is a reason why pro's are going wireless cause it gives u more freedom while gaming. And if rgb is so important for u while gaming then dont buy a wireless mouse cause the batteries have to be light and dont have that much of a capacity cause of that.

    • I did, didn’t change much. Like I said to another comment, I think it has to be a wireless issue at this point, as the mouse worked perfectly plugged in. I ended up boxing it back up and have gone back to the wired version.

  • Do you prefer this mouse over the DeathAdder Elite?

    • I have gotten so used to the ultralight and the shape of the Model O that yea, as of now I do prefer it. If Razer ever made an 70 gram version of the DeathAdder I would be all over it.

  • How long did it take you to get the model o wireless because it's been almost 4 weeks and it hasn't even shipped yet ....

  • Why the hell don’t you give your channel more attention, you are going to be big if you stick to it. I just watched one video not even this one I can already tell

  • The tracking issue is very noticeable even when you're recording. That's weird though. Maybe you can return it and show your vid that there IS really a tracking issue? I agree with you that if people wanted a super light mouse, they should go with finalmouse.

  • The "advertised battery life" plainly says with RGB off, therefore your comment is misleading. If your having tracking issues that sounds like something wrong on your end, like a dirty mousepad or a defective sensor (very unlikely). The sensors on the market today don't have tracking issues its just not something we have to deal with anymore. I would recommend take some time to research your product before reviewing it. Good luck out there.

    • I’m aware the box says 71 hours with RGB off. I personally didn’t take the time to turn it off, then track how long I exactly used the mouse for before battery died, but I would be very curious if anyone is getting 71 hours. My comment was for the majority of people who will leave the lighting on. I’ve had plenty of wireless mice (Razer, Logitech, Steelseries) and they all had better battery life with lighting on. That’s easily chalked up to the added weight (probably a bigger battery), but people should know if they leave the lighting on you’re not going to get a lot of mileage out of the Model O Wireless. As for the tracking issues, I have swapped mouse pads, swapped USB ports, etc. and can’t say what the issue is other than the wireless connection on mine. Maybe my router is too close, I don’t know. It’s not the sensor though, as it works perfectly when plugged in. Take care.
