The "hidden in plain sight" statement could be referring to something in particular that every player is able to see in Area Zero. My theory: the time machine area is actually the inside of the crystal sphere we can see under the legendary in the drawing.

The Ultra Wormholes all but confirmed that the GBA Gen 3 games and the remakes with Mega Evolutions were two different realities, and that alone was fantastic lore drops for those who care about such things. They even used that to make cameos of humans popping from one dimension to the other. What I'm saying is that your hope is never completely unfounded, because clearly _some_ people in Game Freak care about storytelling. Ah, and apologies if you knew all this already. Both electric and flying represent OUR understanding of those two types, not the elemental symbol for the elements. If Terastalization was a naturally occurring phenomenon, electric would be a lightning bolt and flying would be wings, but because it represents our understanding they are a lightbulb and balloons. Same with ghost being Marowak's mother, poison being a skull and crossbones, fire being a chandelier, etc.

As well the fight with the paradise protection protocol was the disk legendary terastallizing the professor to protect what it has built, maybe it wants to protect and maintain paradox pokemon? In a short frame of dialogue when you're fighting the terastallized professor it says "AI Turo has no intention of fighting any more" Maybe the professor is being held there by the disk legendary and we pretty much set it free when we defeat the real thing that's preventing him from leaving.

  • On the topic of 3,000 years ago: In 2020, people started connecting the ancient kingdom in Unova (presumably the one that caused Kyurem to split) had something happen 3,000 years ago, as well. The artifacts in the Abyssal Ruins (there's *that* word again) are dated to 3000 years ago, and the Relic Crown is similarly shaped to Zacian's crown and ears when both are looked from the front. Not sure how that fits here, but when you went over the broad timeline at the end, I was reminded of it.

We know that necrosma is somehow incomplete, with ultra necrosma supposedly being completed but what if it's not? What if necrosma IS another one of these disk pokemon, or else formerly was one. Additionally, has anyone considered how BIG the disk polemon must be? If all the terra crystals were part of its body, this thing must have been nearly incomprehensibly massive. Like eats a whalelord like a goldfish cracker big. Gives Cthulu a run for his money massive. Another possible connection point: if necrosma is shattered, what other pokemon do we know of that have crystalline forms, came from somewhere else, and arrived with a meteoric impact? I think Kyurem, or more correctly the Original Dragon, also seem sort of coincidentally aligned to this. Kyurem can also fuse, much like necrosma, even if it requires human assistance to do so. Kyurem is also supremely dangerous to people much like necrosma (it eats people!) What if that's going to be a future gimic of the games? Enormous kaiju like super pokemon that we can catch a living fragment of or something spawned by its power, but is itself uncatchable like Darkest Day Eturnatus? That's a plot that could be repeated several times with different kaiju scale pokemon with different abilities. The original Dragon, Necrosma's true form, Full power Eternatus, the disk pokemon, etc. But where do they come from? Some other universe? Somewhere else in space or time? Are there more of them there, and if so are they a threat?

  • Great follow-up video! I really appreciate you making the timeline at the end, helps me keep everything straight. I have an idea for how Zygarde may tie into this. Its Pokedex entries state that Zygarde appears when Kalos' ecosystem is threatened, being powerful enough to oppose even Xerneas or Yveltal. So what if Zygarde was manifested from the desire of the people and Pokemon being hurt in just such a catastrophe? What if when the Disc Pokemon crashed into Paldea, the resulting tsunamis and other natural disasters terrified the people and Pokemon of Kalos so much that Zygarde manifested to defend them? This would explain why Zygarde is so powerful, as the Ruin Legendaries being so much stronger than the Paradox Pokemon implies that projections created by the desires of multiple people are stronger than those created by just one person. And Zygarde would be powered by the desire of an entire region. This would also explain another crucial fact about Zygarde: why its so unstable. Zygarde's body often degrades into Zygarde cores and cells, losing the power of its complete form or ceasing to exist entirely. If Zygarde is in fact a projection, then this makes perfect sense because projections can't exist outside the Great Crater and the Disc Pokemon's influence for very long. Even the desire of an entire region isn't enough to sustain Zygarde forever, especially when that desire fades, but its cells and cores manage to persist, like how the Ruin Legendaries are strong enough to presist outside of the Great Crater. The Zygarde Cube which you use to collect the cores and cells may even be an equivalent of things like the Z-crystals and Tera Orbs, specific objects that allow their respective affects to remain active outside of the Great Crater.

What if their powers were combined into the ecosystem giving rise to Zygarde? That would also explain why Complete form has both blue and red accents, while 10% and 50% are able to counter both of their auras. Something random I thought of as well, how exactly are Zygarde’s cells able to exist outside of the forms? Cause if they are just “cells” then they would need some sort of outside force keeping them around, like maybe, Xerneas and Yveltal’s energy?

  • @Roize Rasen The theme of Paldea's story is very similar to that of Alola's story. 1.Paradox pokemon = Ultra beasts (pokemon from other dimensions/Timelines) 2.Arven = Lillie (both being son/daughter of parents who care more for paradox pokemon/ultra beats than their actual son/daughter.) 3.Lusamine = Sada and Turo (Both become evil and mad at the end) 4.Koraidon/Miraidon = Solgaleo/Lunala. They're tiny and rare, both type-based and Pokémon-specific varieties, protected by Totem/Titan Pokémon and handed out to only the best (kind of like Tera Orbs), and give just a single move's worth of energy burst. Plus there's this interesting bit from the Bulbapedia about them: Holding a Z-Crystal makes Rayquaza unable to Mega Evolve. If Arceus holds a type-specific Z-Crystal, its type changes to correspond to the Z-Crystal via its Multitype ability; unlike with Plates, however, its signature move, Judgment, remains unaffected.

Maybe Geeta is meant to be a parallel of the Paldean emperor and her goal is to try to find the disk Pokémon in Area Zero to free it and/or have its powers under her control. To help her she’ll enlist the player, Arven, Penny, Nemona and possibly other Champion-ranked Trainers (she does have their phone numbers, after all) in addition to the Elite Four under the guise of protecting the region from the disk Pokémon. As the story progresses, the Elite Four realize Geeta’s true intentions and turn against her, helping us to defeat her. • I think there is a connection between terastalize and dynamaxing. There is an interview someone asks Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori about how dynamaxing works in lore, and they said the pokemon aren't actually growing to become giant, that it's an projection or an illusion that kinda becomes real. And they didn't wanted to respond further than that. It sounds very similar to the terastalize phenomenon.

  • I’ve been talking about a lot of this stuff with a friend lately, but you noticed so many big details that we missed. One thing we do think we figured out is the connection between the disk Pokemon and Z-Moves, though. The stones used for it are connected to fragments of Necrozma, who lost them in battle and is in a pain-induced rage as a result. There are parallels to how Eternatus’ energy was able to be utilized for Dynamax after it was defeated by Zacian and Zamazenta. Both of these Pokémon left behind something desirable, and both of them likely wouldn’t be happy to find that what they’ve lost is being used in such a way. Disaster would likely ensue if/when they returned.

And the fact that Amoonguss's Entries that state that it uses these patterns to try and lure pokemon also States that they Aren't Fooled by it White & X Entries: They show off their Poké Ball caps to lure prey, but very few Pokémon are fooled by this. Violet Entry: Amoonguss mimics Poké Balls. It is not yet clear whether this mimicry is effective against other Pokémon. • I have something very minor connecting alola to this whole thing. In pokemon USUM you are able to use solgaleo/lunala to go into the ultra ruins, an apocalyptic visage of hau'oli city in an alternate dimension where guzzlord is found. The thing that the resident of the region upon entering the area is something akin to the player 'coming back' to the city, which makes me think that maybe this ultra space is the reality that happens if the player doesn't return from the journey and lets the ultrabeasts destroy the world. I am thinking that maybe the existence of the paradox pokemon could be in some way similar to that of the ultra ruins reality. It isn't necessarily far-fetched to say that legendary pokemon can come from ultra wormholes as well as we can find pretty much every legendary ever in these wormholes, perhaps it is just a matter of being called into the real world. I don't think I am smart enough to draw any sensible conclusions from this, but I will leave it to all of you wonderful people to speculate on.

    @cta2644@cta2644 Жыл бұрын
  • Great video! Question/Theory I’d like to put forward. I agree completely that paradox Pokémon are just projections by the disk Pokémon, rather than actually being from the distant past or future. However following that logic, I have to ask, where does the wormhole lead? It doesn’t make sense to me for the wormhole to truely being able to send something forward or backward in time because what would be the point of creating the paradox pokemon if the time machine worked the whole time? I don’t think it does honestly. This is where it gets far fetched. Your theory seems to be this game will tie the lore of gens 6-9 together. I think it tie Gen v in too. If the disc Pokémon fulfills the dreams and desires of those around it, maybe the wormhole leads to the Pokémon dream world from Gen V. While it’s just a forgetton and poorly implemented gimmick in the games, in the manga the dream world was where reshiram and zekrom lived while inside of the light and dark stone and the stones act as a kind of portal between the real world and dream world, even allowing people to enter the dream world. Masuda has said he thinks of Gen IV as an end of an era for Pokémon and Gen V as the start of a new one. It’s totally possible Gen v will get left out and only the 3d games will get tied together I think it would be very fitting if Gen 9 acted as a way to tie the lore of every game since Gen V together. Maybe it will even be a finale to the second “era” of Pokémon.

  • Within Lysandre’s books and things it talks about both the Ultimate Weapon and the Anistar Sundial being creations of a higher power not understood by even modern engineering, it sounds similar to the way the AI Sada/Turo talk about themselves, I also think the hexagonal design serpent creature associated with the earth is too closely linked to Zygarde to be a coincidence

  • It's mindblowing the amount of thought and connecting went into your two parts! One thing I do speculate is if Sada/Turo imagining the Paradox Pokemon also introduced them into different time periods, such as when Heath visited the crater. Heath would record what he saw in his journal, inspiring the professors to imagine them, creating a paradox in itself.

  • Well to throw a minor spanner in the mix it seems that we see Paradox pokemon being true to their names. Modern pokemon being presented with past or future adaptation. With the future its modern pokemon that are more nature based being altered with robotic like modifications while in the past we either see past versions or almost stranded and feral versions of modern Pokemon in time. As Roaring moon looks like Mega Salimance in a way. 13:47 in Pokemon White and Black the origin dragon that would become Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyrem appeared 500 years after the Darkest day/Ultimate weapon/ruination, so it could be said that Unova's ruination in ancient times was caused by the crystals as well calling these beings.

  • Late to comment but ooo I should’ve expected my assumption that mega evolution wouldn’t tie to all of this somehow AHAH. Interesting take of all this really, and while I’m personally staying in the skeptics if south kalos is dlc, this theory is still very well constructed. I feel a lot of Pokémon lore videos from what I’ve seen in the past don’t use much of what’s stated in game, and instead expand stuff out of personal view for the sake of making stuff up, so I really appreciate you taking the time to look into all the stuff states in game ranging from Pokédex entries to the stuff in the books and tieing it all together, even with the blank parts you admit that are missing. This video also changed my entire perspective of paradox Pokémon, as I was under the belief of them being from the past and future- but there is many holes in it all that I even wonder if the ai got sent to the past/future. (The “Time Machine” might as well be a dimensional portal now with this theory) Really looking forward to how dlc will expand this if we get to see the disk Pokémon, and even if this theory ends up aging, it was still a lot of fun. Looking forward to what else you might speculate on.

    • because the only event that happened "millions of years ago" was the formation of the crater but this could just be false. i think disk and zygarde have too much in common to be unrelated, i think it's gotta either be a 1000% zygarde form, or more likely, a sibling or something. this would explain its involvement in the war, and why it was hit by the ultimate weapon and banished into an alt dimension

  • I keep thinking about how Eternatus is a Poison type, and so is the Glimmora line, who are confirmed to have a structure similar to the terastal crystals... It always confused me why Eternatus was Poison, as nothing in the games mentions it causing illness, but now I think I get it. Like, it's Poison because it "poisons" space itself, corrupting it, making it portray Pokemon as different than they really are (Dynamaxxing). Also, the way that Sada/Turo became obsessed with Area Zero reminds me a LOT of Lusamine's obsession with Ultra Beasts, and Lusamine's mind was a least partially influenced by *Nihilego's poison*. So, the Disk Pokemon may be a Poison/Psychic type, Psychic because of its ability to see someone's desires, and Poison because what it's doing is corruptive, parasitic, or just plain wrong in an eldritch sense, a being which "poisons" both reality and mind.

That's the thing that hurt my partner!" it apparently wasn't any of the current Paradox Pokemon and Arven couldn't even tell if it was a Pokemon... #2: An illness caused by something that might not even be considered a Pokemon, of which we already have the Poison Alien Eternatus and Poisonous Ultra Beasts with potentially infinitely more we just haven't seen yet...
