Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh) Elizabeth and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 29 and like doing creative activities (mostly painting on things), or really anything that gives me an excuse to use rainbows, sprinkles and my own cutesy characters in excess. I'm heavy into editing, so my video are chalk full of sound effects, filters and lil....moments, or as we like to call them "MEmes." I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and various other items I find. I also love to draw, traditionally and digitally. I'm not the most skilled artist out here, but I like to focus on having fun with creativity and being able to laugh at my own mistakes.

  • Grumpy Gretta actually is so cute, and i honestly can't imagine her with any other colour... Green suits her a lot!! And it's something different too, i rarely see green plushies.

  • Hey @Moriah, been recently noticing your gumball machine in the background (loved that thrift video btw) The gum is getting discoloured, old, not appetizing to mouth or eyes lol IDEA that I've done before for decor gumball machines..... PomPoms! Colourful, like sized pompoms. Works like a charm. Dispense without the threat of mold or bugs lol. I could also suggest Orbeez, but though they look cool, they eventually dehydrate. PomPoms are where it's at! Just a thought. Love your content! ❤ -H UPDATE: Firstly, thank you everyone for dropping so many likes to my comment❤❤ Also, wanted to give an extra tip, sometimes the fabric of the pompoms get a bit static attachment to the glass, to make static cling a thing of the past if you truly want to dispense smoothly for art use of these colourful wonders, you could A: place the pompoms in a dryer/washer bag (the ventilated type with small holes-smaller than the pompoms) and put on low heat in the dryer with static guard dryer sheets. Or option B: Line the pompoms out and spray 'em down with static/scotch guard, then let them dry. I prefer option A as it's quicker, less chemically lol. Hope this extra tip helps the art community even just the tiniest bit! 😊❤

  • I cannot EXPLAIN how MUCH I LOVE MORIAH!! One day in like 3rd grade, my best friend said I should watch Moriah’s content. After LOTS and LOTS of begging, I finally did, and got ADDICTED. It was like free seratonin or SOMETHING. Something inside of me clicked. I knew INSTANTLY I loved Moriah’s content, because of all of the art and creativity. Thank you, Moriah. So much.   • I have an idea for a video; Make paper dragon puppets for you and your kids to play with, you can even base them off your current characters, there are multiple tutorials for them and lots of techniques, you can even use posca pens or pull a you and make them ✨️rainbow✨️

  • omg you should try CROCHETING it could be a two part video part 1- learn all the basic stitches part 2- crochet something!!! and then maybe in future videos you could extend it, and try crochet some of your characters!! (i think the blobs would be the easiest)

    • *Acrylic paint is not intended for use on fabric and IF you decide to be a dummy (like me) and use acrylic paint on fabric, you should minumum use a fabric mod Podge on top to prevent cracking. Acrylic paint is not a very flexible paint, so if used on any surfce that bends and/or wrinkles, it can begin to crack over time. Also: Never. ever. EVER. use it on squishes. That’s not just “a no no” that’s a CRIME. because it WITHOUT A DOUBT, crack into oblivion if used on a squishy. And then I’ll have to fix it. So please. JUST DON’T. Thank you* That is the disclaimer took a little while.

  • I used acrylic, watercolour and matte mod podge on one apron, and it worked out great. It is not so important, especially if the textile os not meant to be washed or worn all the time

  • Hey Moriah! This isn’t really related to painting or anything but, does mini and minier me have a Tonie box? If you don’t know what the heck that is, it’s a small box and you can purchase the little figures for it. When you put the figures on top of the box, it will sing songs and tell stories about that character. For example, if you put an Elsa tonie, it will sing Let it Go and tell the story of Frozen. I am the oldest sister my 2 other sisters (7 and 3) both love their box! They use it everyday and often ask my mom to go buy more characters for their box. I always see a good bit in Target. They are a little pricey, Tonies are about 17 bucks, the boxes are about 80. I just thought that your beautiful little babies would like that. Thanks for reading 🩷
