This video I decided to have a TEMU fishing challenge. I brought a couple of crazy looking lures from the budget friendly website to see if I could catch anything. I was pleasantly surprised! I has some explosive topwater action!

I didn't know about Temu (In fact I had never heard of them) but now that I have found them I will be ordering many of my lures from them as being a tight ar$ed pensioner I have to fish on a very tight budget, so many many thanks!

  • Great session again Chris, Lovely Pike at the start. We all have had the wardrobe malfunction at some point. I am subed to that site, It was Dave's at first changed to LMNB and Now Pike And Perch. So will be following to see how You get on. Don't forget to throw some Dead Baits In the part of the swim, were You had the 30+ grab Your Lure. Then go back In dead of Winter with some very stout Tackle, and get Her on the bank. I could not feel my hands and toes and face Sunday Morning In the Pitch Black 15/10/2023, but made up with a 28 pounder Lovely. Keep 'Em Coming.

  • I completely missed YPC, I'll have to get on it next year. I did the same thing recently with Ali, and ended up getting a range of "whopper ploppers" and mice lures I've been pleasantly surprised with. - I guess I'll be looking at one of these ducks now. Beautiful first pike! I'm amazed those chub took those baits, cracking fish.

  • Another thoroughly enjoyable video, can't beat surface action. That duck lure swims like the Jackall micro tappy. The cheap sites do versions of that too. It's not the hooks that are causing the dropped fish. I do heaps of surface fishing here in Australia and it happens a lot. It's like they grab the lure but don't get the hooks. Aussie fishing great Steve Starling reckons to land about one out of three.

  • I suggest with the success under these conditions, revisit TEMU and order a couple other ones..... these two really seem to get the fish to react........ get a couple more!

  • We buy the best rod / reel and put the best line / braid on the reel ! Then buy cheap lures!! That seems a bit backwards to me !! Only because if the lure failed with fish off lifetime !! Obviously they worked well 👍can you give is a update on if there rusting after being in your tackle box for a week ? If there still in great working order! I will be ordering from Temu

  • We use mouse on fly rods ducks pike just hammer em and big fish on fly rods alot of fun alberta canada ps brown trout love mice lur single hook...keep your stick on the ice young jedi!

  • Me n a m8 we're buying stuff for fishing to test from temu as most of what we've had is better than wish and no hidden post. Are you going to try any telescopic/travel rods? I saw some that look too cheap but would be great stocking stuffers for kids wanted to start as their was a 6ft rod n reel kit with all the hooks lures line etc for £6.49 obviously it's not built to last but I must have gone through 3 or 4 starter kits not cuz they broke when I was younger it's was all the kit new reel and I'd give a rod to a friend, I've still got a really old starter lit rod I still use for light trout fishing 🎣 it's perfect for a drop shot or float rig in the tight twist n turns as its 5.5ft and you can almost bend the tip to the reel rest.

  • Them duck lures work on deep gravel pits with steep banks where ducks struggle to get in and out ,, you no theres big pike in there but never see any ducks.. cuz they get picked of by the pike

  • In normal circumstances I would say no chance with the duck lure but this man catches Pike with bottles of Prime 😆

    • ducks and ducklings are easy prey if you think about it.. a local resovior I grew up around you'd see big big pike taking full grown ducks regular and even 2 small dogs got taken too.. pike will take anything if their instinct kicks in before they realise what they're going for
