13:43 I cant be the only one who thinks that's the most relaxing swimming pool. I literally just wanna sit there alone and not think about one thing, just admiring the beauty of this place.
It would be perfect if the color of the walls are light brown
Same It's so peace full , especially of u in there in 3:00 AM
backrooms lol
Ikr me to
Yes! I think the only scary thing there would be to get to the pool and find other people there making noise. That's a place for calm, quiet and contemplation - it's to be cherished alone.
The claustrophobic corridor-pool at 13:43 kinda looks like you discovered a hidden level in Portal (except with water that isn’t acid). Love it ! I find something very intriguing about places that seem both abandoned and secret (even if they’re not really).
It looks like the pool rooms (backrooms but pools)
There is an actual term which describes the type of place that gives people these feelings when entering them. They are called "liminal spaces". You also experience this when in a large abandoned bldg or a very dead mall. I believe if you do a search for "liminal space" on YT you'll be likely to find some cool videos showing and explaining why they make people have a certain unsettled feeling when experiencing such a space.
@@jaydouglas5847 Thanks ! I remember hearing that expression before, but I hadn’t thought to look it up. It’s really cool ! I absolutely love that otherworldly feeling. It’s a tiny bit spooky, but also kind of enchanting.

Never in my lifetime would I find myself at any of these unique attractions. I'm just not the daredevil type. But I found myself unsettled watching this video, like the earth had disappeared from beneath me. I was riveted and enthralled the whole time. I loved it. GREAT idea for a KZhead post. I couldn't have enjoyed it more.
As someone who is massively introverted that basement pool sounds like a dream to swim in.

That basement pool is simply divine I’d spend hours in there
It reminds me of this indie game. kzhead.info/sun/ac6oZNiirGiKlZE/bejne.html. These types of areas are refered to as liminal spaces / areas. To some people they feel creepy, hence the term liminal horror. I myself however would love to be at places like these. Either all alone or with a few friends. Imagine just you and your buddies having a pool party all by yourselves in that gigantic bathhouse. This the very definition of liminal space. A feeling that you are not supposed to be there at the moment but you are. Other examples would be a closed school or mall devoid of all people but yourself. Of course u cant normally be in such places as there are alarm systems active during these periods and they also are all locked down but what if not and you just peacefully was roaming around in there. That is the general feeling im describing that both that basement pool and that game is creating.
This didn't give me nightmares. This just reminded me i cant afford them.
Right? 🤭
Hahahahaha...Me too!
Yes I wanted to say that.
Those tube water slides give me high anxiety… but it’s not bc this video- I just don’t like them lol
Same here, for sure!😕 You know? The nightmare is the ticket prices!!!
I grew up swimming in that first one, "The pool of death". You actually show two pools in this video, they are close to each other. One isn't actually a pool, more of a cove. But it's true that plenty of tourists die there. They ignore the signs and go down when there are large swells. They normally smash their heads on the rocks when big waves hit them.
How lovely.
@@koenkeep. Sounds so nice and peaceful to bring.... Certain friends to.
What moron would ever swim in a "pool of death"?????
You just can't tell some people anything. [smh] They always have to find out for themselves.
We used to call it Turtle Rock then it became a big tourist attraction and they started calling it Queens Bath spent a lot of time down there as a kid swimming and fishing.
As someone who love adventure, I'll absolutely love to try every single pools shown in this video... They look like something I would really enjoy, given that I love thrilling experiences that gives me adrenaline rush
Me too, assuming I had that kind of money.
The basement pool to me looks amazing. I would like to just go there and swim back and forth and be alone and not afraid any more. Because me? I'm terrified of reality, humanity, the outdoors, deep water, too much space - basically the opposite of everything this pool offers. To me, it looks like a dream come true pool. It's actually my favorite by far, and if I ever get to build my own home (ha!), I would love a pool like this.
Scariest swim I've ever feared is going out in the gulf at night. No lights from shore or boats for miles. It's cloudy so no moon or star lights. Not able to see the water but feel it around you. And the cherry on top is knowing there are things in that water bigger than you. It's a creepy ride on a boat when coming in from an offshore rig.
submariners are down there too....we are the things that go bump in the night. ;-)
Yep. I'll bet everyone would be scare of the ocean if they knew what was in it!😆
That is horrifying. I love water but deep water terrifies me. Esp the ocean. Frickin' Cthulhu is down there.
and some of those big things will literally have you for dinner. Plus, that's when sharks come out to hunt.
I grew up in the Gulf of Mexico I know what you're sayin!! It gets wild past the 3rd sandbar at night!!
The real nightmare is that if/when you go, none of these pools will be anywhere near as empty of tourists like they are in this video.
I admire your picture, wear your hair long? that's attractive, please describe it?
Hotel Hurberts in Italy looks like the one th Sway Boys use in their vids
That or the slides malfunction when you're in it.
I think the narrator was projecting his own phobias. I find that narrow pool really calming.
I’ve been to Homestead in Utah. It’s so warm, quiet, and relaxing you could fall asleep!
15:11 the Kilimanjaro slide looks like an actual nightmare I had when I was younger, the slide looked exactly like that and when I went down it I couldn't feel the slide or water at all, it felt like I was suspended over everything and it was a nightmare because in my mind I was thinking "this is too tall, I'm going to die, why did I go down this?" and it felt very real and scared the hell out of me
I adore your picture, wear your hair long? I find that attractive, please describe it?
Although it was not mentioned, people have died recently from similar slides. Gravity always wins, and when control is limited, unsecured or simply not present it will go wrong in a terrible way.
TBH, that and the Devil's Pool were the only ones on this list that actually scared me. And I would *love* to try the Serpent's Pool with the psychedelic lights!
I was already scared of water but thank you for adding to my anxiety
UK: haha, I feel the same
I'd rather freeze to death.
By the end of the video I felt relaxed, those pools, especially the scenic ones are on my list now. Even the framed one is pretty chill.
My got dive certified in NEMO 33. I watched from the glass windows. There is a bar right outside with windows where you can drink a fine glass of Belgian beer while you ponder how nuts these Belgians are. This pool (having seen it with my own eyes) is truly terrifying. It's a no frills, straight, square drop going down 300 feet!! You run out of air or get low (even an expert) you're dead. Period. The thought alone had me gald to be fully dressed and outside having a beer.
The 'narrow pool' from the thumbnail isnt even scary- looks pretty comforting and cozy tbh. Would love that in my house
The Pool Rooms!
Swim along and there are dead bodies lying on the bottom.
I'm curious where it leads
That would be awesome!
But imagine that pool never ending
That basement pool looks peaceful - I would 100% want to swim there
I won't be able, I can't do it I have bad claustrophobia, I get anxious just thinking of it but give me heights, I don't feel a thing.
I went to aqualandia in Spain and it was epic. The swimming pool and rides were awesome and the slides were thrilling and high.
🤩🤩VERY INTERESTING👍I had no idea of the existence of these pools, except for the mudpool. Thanks for sharing👍💕
The pool in the basement that the auditor said he was scared of looked like my favorite - so peaceful and tranquil. Where is that “basement pool” that is long but not wide located?
I think it is in London.
My favorite is #12 Deep Dive in Dubai. It is an amazing and well done indoor pool that make me want to explore what beneath this Deep Dive. Would love to visit and dive in this pool one day.
I’d visit all of them if I could afford to! Especially the glass suspension pool 😍
I’ve got a bit of a story. It starts 20 years ago when I was in Las Vegas back in 2000 during an Arizona/Las Vegas trip. I was 13 at the time. (I am 33 now) My family and I went to Wet N Wild Las Vegas (I think it’s now called Cowabunga Canyon). They had a capsule slide there similar to the capsule in the Dizzying Aqua Loop in this video. Well, when I was dropped through the trap door in the capsule, it caught me off-guard and I ended up getting airborne. Nothing ended up becoming of it while I descended, but you should’ve seen the lifeguard’s face when I reached the bottom. He was absolutely terrified.
this went from pools, to natural pools, to waterpark tunnels
This is beautiful. I love new exciting pools where you can swim and just have pure clean fun
Yup, I loved that basement pool, what a holodeck feeling. I´d swim there anytime.. Thanks for sharing.
That led german water slide is beautiful. Even with any fear of water or heights or claustrophobia those lights wpuld easily ease my fears like id forget i was even on the water slide just with the aesthetics of the lights alone.
The "Pool of Death" (we know it by a different name) as you call it, and Queen's Bath are in the same area, but not the same thing. Most visitors end up in the "Pool of Death" thinking they are at Queen's Bath. The Locals who grew up here, make it seem easy, but remember . . . they grew up here and know the currents. No visitor needs to jump into this area. If the swells are high, especially in Winter, this area is very dangerous . . . same with Queen's Bath. Visitors have been swept off these rocks and pulled from Queen's Bath, and carried out, some never to be found; this has also occurred on calm days, when rogue waves hit at times. Many of us try to educate the visitors in these areas, but oftentimes, we're ignored. When a visitor gets themselves in trouble, which happens more than most realize, it is the Locals, the Surfers, and the Lifeguards who then are put in a position of placing themselves in danger.
Someone needs to make a horror themed water park, like a cross between a water park and a haunted house
Yes then we can throw you off it and see if you make it lol 😆
At 06:05, I didn't know it snows in Bali. 😄
@@yoda36 I didn't answer. Dumb. 😁
Might be hard. If you're using live actors. I've worked at haunted houses and I. It usually dark. Yes actors can get used to it but for guests they usually aren't. There's a chance they could drown. Backing up on that they could get lost too. I've seen some go into the wrong places. II. Actors have to breathe. Yes we can hold out breathes but if air bubbles can be see or a disturbance could be seen like choppy water it could ruin the area. III. I can't speak for all but for the ones I've worked at we're no contact. It's easier stopping on land then in water. IV. Sometimes guests can be jerks. Say you're going up for air and some guest holds your leg down because they think it's funny. V. I think a boat ride would be better.
If you want people to drown...
Would love to see these pools and enjoy swimming ....added to our bucket list of places to visit in the future😍🥰👍👌🤗
The only one that I wouldn't wanna go in is the one with the Saltwater Crocodile. All the others I'd love to do!! The 2 that you dive in look cool, although I might need to get a bit better at diving first, Those 2 black hole slides with the lights look awesome!!
The black hole one looks absolutely stellar
And beautiful. Especially If it isn't a underwater tube.

Living in the south, swimming with alligator became an unwanted event. One summer a few days after a flash flood, the local creek was starting to clear up, a spot locals named the Brum hole had 3 visitors and we didn't notice until jumping in.
My fav was the black hole slide... I want to try it so bad!! 😍
The snow capped mountains that you can see from bali pool in Indonesia is really wonderful
13:40 I don't think it would give you nightmares necessarily and I don't think the size is really the issue. To me, it's more the lighting. It has sort of a creepy feel if you look towards the back where it's dark.
I get claustrophobic (and I have almost drowned in a pool), so it is scary for some, including me. And yes, the lighting is creepy. Not only that, it looks like there are very few hand holds, so if those holes somehow caved in, you would have nothing to keep you from drowning.
What's scary for me is that Underwear tube slide. I'll pass on that.
As someone with severe thalassaphobia, pools that are over 5 feet deep already gives me nightmares
as an homophobe/thalassaphobe I relate to this too
The slide in the Bahamas is at The Atlantis Hotel and Resort on Paradise Island. It's great!
I am anxious just watching this video! I'm super surprised my people are doing #6...
The Black Hole one actually looks pretty fun, but I would never, EVER try those deep dive pools! Those things freak me out!
I would go down whilst playing the Doctor Who theme.
I'd totally go into the narrow indoor poor alone and stay there. I love small spaces. I guess you could say I have whatever is opposite of claustrophobia lol
How does the 'basement pool' look scary? it looks amazing!
For real! Long, narrow, and no one else around? Or just me and a friend or two. I'd like chill as well as a capybara.

#TodaysTopic: That pool is a bit scary looking to me. You can’t tell how deep it is and if you can stand up or not. And where do you get in and out at?? Or rest? And at the end of that long pool it’s too dark for my liking. And you can’t tell if it ends or turns the corner. Spooky. But all the others, especially the slides, I’m game!!! What a wonderful video. Great and amazing. I loved Bali too. I didn't do anything that exciting but the island is absolutely amazing I was only there for 3 nights as I escorted a group to Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bali. It was an obviously exciting two weeks. I can't wait to go back without a group this group was actually a good mob of people.
I would love that basement pool 🏊! 🤩
The only really scary ones in my opinion were the natural hazards and maybe the tallest/steepest water slide. The croc tank isn't really what I call a swimming experience, and you can definitely have the psychedelic light show slides - I'm not even seizure prone, but I'm getting a headache just watching a video of them.

I’ve been on the Leap Of Faith slide in the Bahamas. 1.) The initial drop is a different level of shock. If anything, I was fearful b/c I felt my body lift off of the slide a little. 2.) While it was fun overall, the ride hurt my ass lol.

So the last 4 pools were really shallow, really long, really stringy tubular pools, I guess? And the snowy pine trees in Bali were just beautiful. :D By the way, the basement pool is the most relaxing and wonderful of them all.
It's called a water slide at a amusement park

The basement pool? Sure I have the courage! I am not afraid of deep water! And I would be happy to swim in the dive pools, too!
I cannot help but have serious concerns about the amount of weight these massive hanging pools exert on their support structures along with the rhythmic horizontal motion the water makes with the natural sway of the buildings in high winds. These are still relatively new and I suspect that we are just waiting for the first major one to fail. Of course, I could just be overly paranoid - LOL.
3 words- research. Watch. Trust.
the aqualoop is the besssst. also the gravity wave in melb + the blackout. the blackout is a slide in complete and utter darkness for a good 2 minutes you cannot see a thing and have no idea which way is up or down or left or right... it's such a strange and spooky feeling
I once had a dream about pools. Yours is quite spectacular.
I’ve gone on the leap of faith (several times) and you really just zoom past the sharks; barely see them at all when you’re on the ride. There is a much milder ride on the side that also goes through the same shark tank where you can float on those inflatable doughnuts at a much slower pace; that one’s definitely better for shark viewing
I like your picture, wear your hair long? I find that attractive, please describe it?
I'd like that one.
That second one sounds cool. Would love to look around while going through.
