It's a vertical lathe (50 minutes?) (lathe spins work, mill spins cutter) I doubt they get paid anything to clean up so don't do more than they have to to be able to work. It's probably a major job just to keep things from 1940's even running , Pakistan didn't have independence until 1947 plus is still at odds with India almost 80 years later

@@_Wai_Wai_ A pulley system on overhead beams, you consider ideal? A crane does not need to be motorized to be useful, like for pulling large steaming metal objects out of molds, like has been done with overhead pulley systems for THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

Only need to look at historical facts from USA or Europe from 150~200 years ago to know life expectancy is probably around 35~45 for manual workers with probably same accident rates as back then. Major difference will be very few if any better off people campaigning for workers rights
