Werner was suffering from a lack of confidence and at our club if you don’t hit the ground running i.e., Nicolas Jackson we’re on your ass and it’s hard to turn it around. Seeing as what Ange has done with Richarlison, I think he’s the only manager who can get something out of Werner

Werner doesn't owe Chelsea fans anything. I appreciated him at Chelsea, and he did well to help us win a Champions League, so taking a step down to Tottenham doesn't hurt his legacy in the slightest. Just like it didn't take anything away from Poyet, Cudicini, Gallas etc. It's a smart no-risk move on Spurs' part

He did ok for chelsea when they first signed him and played him on the wing, it was when they put him upfront as striker when it all fell apart. For me he's just covering for when Solomon's back from injury then he'll be a back up for the rest of the season.
