There are all sorts of cool moves from in front of your downed opponent, but taking the back is one of the best places you can be in both wrestling & jiujitsu.
Take the time to master sprawling, blocking and dragging the arm, and going behind. I recommend grabbing the near ankle or thigh and getting used to switching off to a double leg if your opponent stands up.
The sprawl to a go behind has arguably some of the best return on investment in wrestling & jiujitsu. Not only do you neutralize your opponent's offense, you use it to score and create your own.
