The Dawn may work but I would let the water run in a little and add the Dawn to the water before adding the sheets. The water dilutes the Dawn and should avoid staining.
What you said about praying while we take care of our home is so precious. I have a 15-month-old baby and most of the time I struggle to keep a clean home while I take care of him during the day. You gave me the motivation to do it eitherway.

Put the dawn on a washcloth instead of directly into the wash. It will stop it from staining

Use Mrs Stewart’s bluing liquid!!! You dilute a few drops in a quart or two of water and it works awesome, Jackie Aina swears by it for her sheets! It’s one of the best old school laundry hacks

crispy white sheets = scoop of oxyclean, bleach pod, HOT water. and clear/white softener because the colored softeners have also stained my white sheets/towels. also im with you about the pine-sol! freaking loooove the smell. didnt grow up in a black household but my mom used it to mop the floors and the smell of it is so nostalgic now

Hi Maya ,when you want to put dawn in your washer to wash whites ,just put on small hand towel or wash cloth(just couple drops ,no need for more it’s super concentrated),and put 1/2 cup of backing soda and 1/2 of white vinegar ,and then detergent of your choice,.I hope this tip will help you .

Dawn and white vinegar. I also add baking soda. They come out freshly white
Always add dawn straight into the washer 1st then add clothes on top works like a charm. Definitely works when done right.
For my glass doors I love to use Dawn dish soap with vinegar mixed in a scrub daddy wand, I usually will clean the glass doors during a shower and clean as new 😊
I do my shower glass using dawn dish soap. A dish scrubber with the handle (the one you unscrew and put the detergent into it). Scub it down and then use a flat window swingy to remove the soap. Then I spray it down with windex and then remove with micro fiber towel. Works everytime!

I love using pinesol too I use on counter tops and floors I also use Clorox wipes and it’s so weird but I love the smell of bleach in the restrooms so I use that too. I love having a nice clean and good smelling home.

It’s a lot but once in a while I wash my white blankets and sheets 3 times in a row! On deep wash with Clorox. It makes them super white.

If you want to add a little scent to your mop water try a few drops of essential oils. That's what I do. I love a good lemon zest essential oil!

I use Cymbiotika cleaning products and also tablets (for toilet and laundry) from Blueland. I go for really clean and healthy products but they also smell amazing too! Thank you for the motivation! ❤
Yes, I have an idea. My shower always looks so shiny and clean. Buy you a squeegee. It keeps your glass so perfectly clean and no soap scum lines. Another way to keep it clean is liquid soap when you bathe instead of soap bars.

I love that Pledge! You gotta try Whip It! It’s plant based and works on any surface. I spray it on anything that needs to be wiped! I love to spray the microwave then let it sit for 2-3 mins and girrrl the dirt just melts away!

Fill the washing machine first with water and soap with your detergents and mix the stuff around with your hand then put the sheets or clothes in. When you put soap directly on clothes in washers like that it doesn’t rinse out and it stains your sheets.

I used to clean the whole apartment every Saturday morning for hours but with my 4 month old plus cooking and time for my self I just can’t. I got a cleaning schedule template from Etsy and I dedicated every day for a different room like Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen, Office/Hallway, Bedroom and a Grocery Day with Fridge Clean Out on Saturday. Sunday is Rest. I feel like it also makes me clean better because I’m not tired. Had to let go of the thought that everything has to be clean at the same time. At night we do a reset with picking up clutter in the living area, turning dish washer on, wiping kitchen down. But girl the baby stuff everywhere burning me out lol
Run the water first with the laundry detergent and the dawn then add the blanket once the water is filled up
For the shower glass try CLR Calcium, Lime, & Rust Remover! You can get it from Lowes!

Dawn works for me. I don’t add it directly to what I’m washing. I put it in the softener compartment and I always use the Dawn Platinum - the darker blue one.

Hey Maya as simple as it sounds I use windex and a fiber cloth for my glass doors and my mirrors and it leaves it very clean and clear no streaks or anything let me know if it works for you love ❤️

Maybe try putting dawn dish soap on a white wash cloth you dont care about, let it sit for like, 30 seconds. Throw it in with whites, and this may work. It does for me!❤❤❤
