Gamer Z they aren’t overpowered. They are easy to counter and you can mount a small counterpush. What you need to do is use more than one troop, you need to use a combo. They’re also really expensive.

Ok real talk: if tornado executioner is still viable, would a hog cycle (with ice golem) in conjunction with tornado executioner be a good counter to these guys? I don't know what the meta is now, but it's just my two cents.
The ice golem would be used to lure the guards and whatever is behind them in time for the tornado to pull them all in for the executioner to well... execute them. A spell or two could speed up the process (e.g. log to set up a hog push)
I suppose if you place it in the back middle and tornado to front middle it could work... But the royal recruits will almost always be supported with something
if they are out of range i think the exec can wipe them out more efficiently than other splashers

I could sense a hit speed nerf incoming. Some of those splash units don't last long enough to justify using them without sacrificing them.

that is a very smart nerf idea. as oj said, 1 recruit only does about 150 damage on the tower solo. Even if they all lost 1 hit off the tower which is like a 3% hit speed reduction, it would reduce their overall damage by like 60% yet still keep them impactful enough with their first 1 - 4 swings. So hit speed and initial hit nerf. Good call
they'll be much less op if their shields are zapable.

When I saw that sparky instantly aced behind the megaknight, I died a little
I feel as though a good change maybe would be to reduce or remove their spears. This is what was done to NW a while back and honestly I really miss that ranged toothpick of hers against like a Valkyrie. Also a big issue with them is the health post shield. It's just so much and collectively, they can tank so long for cards such as dart goblin, bats, or anything.

I knew this before the vid. I haven't played the game in a month. But just seeing the stats. Guards are already painful(and one of my favorites) with them dying easily after the shield. These are 3 magic archer health guards with shields. Wth
