The best thing about the Barb Barrel to me is the fact that he is such an effective counter to pretty much any support troops. He consistently distracts and takes out the Wizard and Witch for a 2 to 5 elixir trade, and he absolutely annihalates Rascal girls, Dart Goblin, Princess, Spear Goblins, Ice Wizard, Electro Wizard, Magic Archer, and even Musketeers/Night Witch. I can't imagine not having him on my team, particularly as a control deck player. His trade values are just absolutely ridiculous.

Now that barbarian Barrel is 2 elixir it’s a decent tech option as it supplies a tank as well as damage to wipe skeletons and other small troops. I recommend dart goblin in tandem with the barrel as it’s a fairly decent combo and can even plus you on elixir advantage

Barbarian barrel and bats seems like a good combo
a perfectly place, ice spirit
zap, any air hitting troop, ice golem, arrows, fireball, more spells, knight, more mini-tanks, and a lot more cards counter it easily. So it will work very rarely, so you're wrong, as everyone atleast has a spell
Cuber Knight zap is amazing against this, and is in most decks.

It is a good combo. It's not something to always throw out, but when it does land it is devastating. Remember you can always mix up the support troop to the barrel, for instance goblin barrel if you see them Zap the bats or even a miner. Don't let the theorycraft pull you away. Log bait is still good and people claim to always beat it, yet it's still a top deck. Same situation here. It'll take some time, but watch people will figure it out

its 4 years out of date, some of the stats and knock-backs arent applicable anymore.
I feel that the barrell is pretty good but its range is balanced because and longer would make it harder to use to counter support troops behing a giant. Its more of a counter troop than a spell. So id say it could work well with another weak spell like arrows

What pisses me off about the Barbarian barrel is that it does reduced damage to crown towers, BUT IT CAN’T HIT ANY OF THEM!! Buff it by giving it a 7 tile range so it at least hits the king tower when placed in the center when a crown tower is down, and up the damage a little bit more

Im from the FAR future and 99% of all of this stuff has been changed and almost none of this is relevant. This includes: -the range -the barb -the barrel width -the cost down from 3 to 2 -the barrel damage stopping it from killing princess and dart goblin but allowing it to break shields -it now show where the barb will spawn in the hover outline -the speed the of barrel(edit: this is inaccurate) -and a nerf to the deploy time And generally the barrel is completely reworked and is in a “healthy” position for a popular spell

Honestly, both. Barbarian is good for distractions and taking out small pushes and hordes. Log is good for taking out big pushes and knocking down thicc boys Not to mention they are both decent for cycling, and the more cycling troops the better!

They should either buff the tile range or make it spawn 2 Barbarians instead. The Log completely outclasses it: It has the knockback, it has longer range and it's likely going to deal more damage than the Barb will anyway. At least with 2 Barbs it could be used to snipe glass cannons.

The Barbarian Barrel actually does more damage than the log, and actually does enough to kill archers, making it the only spell that gets a positive elixer trade against them.
