  • It’s MJ, KOBE, WADE stop the disrespect. Why do people forget so easily. Compare Edward’s first 3 seasons to Dwayne wades first 3 seasons. What Dwayne Wade did was insane. Wade 2004- 16.2 ppg regular season 18.0 ppg playoffs (went to the eastern conference semis) 2005- 24.1 ppg regular season 27.4 ppg playoffs (went to the eastern conference finals) 2006-27.2 ppg regular season 28.4 ppg in the playoffs (wins the nba championship, finals MVP, averaged 34.7 ppg) Anthony Edwards’s first 4 years 2021- 19.3ppg regular season 25.2 playoffs (lose first round) 2022- 21.3ppg regular season 31.6ppg playoffs (lose first round) 2023- 24.6ppg regular season 31.0ppg playoffs (lose in the first round) I think we need to chill…people made the mistake with James harden trying to compare to Wade. James harden has no chips. He’s a one way player. No defense. He never shows up when it matters the most. Also Dwade never had a three ball and yet averaged just as much as harden. If Wade had a three then we would never compare these guys at all. Yet dwade with no three ball still averaged just as much or even better then harden. Edward’s can be the guy to take the third greatest shooting guard spot…but he has a lot to prove or he could end up being a harden, t-Mac, Iverson, Melo and be a great scorer but never a real champion.

I know Ant isn't Jordan but what Iam saying is I see now why everyone loves Jordan as much as they do. Ant is freaking awesome, and I am a huge fan now.. BOX OFFICE CANT MISS!!!

Just because someone plays with attitude doesn't mean they are better than LeBron, that argument is so ignorant. What about when LeBron played the Celtics, especially game 6 was that not killer instinct? What about "What klay say"!? And then coming back 3-1 on gsw. Ant hasn't done SHIT yet, but hey he has attitude😂

  • There will never truly be another MJ or another Kobe. The game has changed (easier) far too much and players of the past 15 to 20 years have had all the advantages (rest, rules changes to make the game less physical, spacing, freedom of movement, PED usage, etc.) players from the past did not have to make a FAIR comparison. I know Kobe played much of his career with some of these advantages, but it was clear he played an old-school brand of basketball. Comparing ANT to MJ or to Kobe or any current players to ones from past eras is disrespectful to the older players.

  • Barring injury, in two years, we are probably looking at a Kobe / MJ level type of player due to his ball handing and total variety of game and defense. MN has a real nice roster and a coach who seem competent. With the Gobert trade, I thought the ceiling was WCF. But now, honestly, they have to think championship within the next 3 years. Also - SA is 100% right that Taylor is pulling out because Edwards is gonna make the franchise worth $5B within a couple years

  • As a Nuggets fan, the Wolves are making me nervous. Edwards has a different kind of killer mentality. He has the kind of mentality that sets him apart from most of the NBA. Combine that with his skills and you’ve got a guy who can lead a team to a title. There aren’t many players that can be the #1 guy on a championship team. Jokic, Doncic, Tatum, Giannis, LeBron, these guys are #1’s. Curry, Kawhi, KD, they’re not #1’s anymore. Edwards is looking like he can be a #1.

    @kb10393@kb1039319 күн бұрын

    • @@AvenueI77 No, that's why I said "2020s or 2030s?" This era can be a toss up era because you had LeBron-AD, then Giannis, then Curry, then Joker all win chips...or maybe the Joker era if he repeats. ANT's still really young so his greatest years can possibly be the 2030s, but if he wins 3 chips at least, this 2020s decade will def be his era. One thing I know he's definitely the next big thing after LeBron, even though he got some tough competitors in Shai and Zion who also are capable of taking over. I give the edge to ANT though as far as the next big thing because he has that IT factor that Jordan, Kobe, and LeBron has.
