    • The guys you spoke of were pushed by mainstream medias since coming into the league whereas, Ant wasn't taken serious after he said he didn't watch basketball. Joker and Giannis were scouted and rightfully so, but Ant was only seen as a high jumper-not someone with potential to lead a team to a title. Now, they're seeing he's not even in his prime and he's peaking and doing everything they said he couldn't do while still expanding his game. He's well beyond his years in terms right now because it usually takes about 6,7 years of playing professionally to see where someone is and whether they've reached their ceiling. Ant hasn't hit that mark yet and is definitely one of the tops in the league.

  • I remember there was an interview the year he was drafted where he admitted that basketball was more of a job/occupation than his true love/passion... And then continued to elaborate on how he was just really talented at ball (and expressed how much he loved football, just wasnt as talented) and saw it as an avenue to open up more opportunities in his future. Fair point. I align it to Joker's stance on basketball versus his love/passion for horse racing and Ant's love/passion for football. Edit: Not saying that hasnt changed though. And to be fair he also said during that interview, that he did enjoy getting better and putting in the work though. Just said he wasn't that into watching bball games outside from playing... (didnt clarify if he was into looking at tape in order to get better... tho 2 different things and besides the point)

  • shaq comment is not disrespectful at all to me. he is correct. he agrees that ant man is great and he wants to see ant man to sustain his greatness in a long run and what's wrong with that? shaq is not wrong and it's not embarrassing at all. I don't know wtf you talking about dude

  • So far off on Shaq's comment. He never once said anything about Ant being Jeremy Lin. Shaq was just making an analogy, that a player to be considered great is consistently performing at a higher level than everyone else for a long period of time. I don't know how this interpretation was so far off, if you're listening to the same statement from Shaq that I just heard. People just like to make up their own narrative on things for attention, or they just don't listen! This is why we have two ears and one mouth...SMH...

  • You'll really be comparing some guys to the wrong players. Trust me some players just be a talk for a few seasons. And until the NBA find a better face or try to keep his face good
