  • What's great about watching all these videos from these racers is we don't have to rely on traditional media. We get inside scoops at high level of competition from those in the race. Keep it coming!

    @freburt2772@freburt27723 жыл бұрын
    • No offense but this is really low level when it comes to pros. A climber in the word tour pro peloton could win a sprint riding solo agasint these guys. High level competition right now is happening in "pais vasco".

      @mikelboudica5389@mikelboudica53893 жыл бұрын
    • @@mikelboudica5389 Besides being wrong and stupid if you have to preface your comment with "no offense" it's also probably really offensive. These guys reach a HIGH LEVEL of competition doing something they are not compensated for in a society that doesn't value it. They have arguably achieved more then Euros.

    • @@gattmolson you clearly don’t know about cycling. That is like comparing La Liga with the MLS, actually not even. Is like comparing La Liga with Chinese soccer league. Cheers

    • Actually the fact that you think someone will broadcast this is hilarious, this is like a high school game when compared to the real pros. I actually don’t even consider them real pro. They are the top amateur crit racer and very few of them, the rest are weekend warriors, don’t you see a 40 year old dad that has already raced being able to be with the “pros” at the end of the race? Do you see the teens in the peloton, do you realize there is only two teams that are “pro” competing with people with regular jobs?Dont you see they don’t even have a rule for how many riders can be on a team , and actually force all teams to have the same numbers? I was trying to be nice .. just comment was actually pathetic and you from someone with no idea about about word tour , continental all the way to this “pros” . Lol

      @mikelboudica5389@mikelboudica53893 жыл бұрын
    • @@mikelboudica5389 I used the term high level of competition. As far as crit racing goes, this is it in the US.... you decided to relate it to being a pro. Pro racing in grand tours is a different animal. I disagree with your assessment of a 'climber' beating these guys in a sprint. The comparison is ridiculous.

So while it's great to watch a bike race, without knowing where they are in the race, or being able to see any data, it makes it much less interesting. Great job hanging with two of the best in the country brother, there's no shame at all in how you rode.

  • I will likely never race a crit but I enjoy all the KZhead content from the various channels following these Cali races. I want to see Legion go up against stronger and stronger competition while the Williams are in their prime. I’m hoping American Crit racing can go mainstream and bring in real athletic money and lure top talent from Europe. It’s a different brand of racing than the classics and tours. These guys should be stars and should be on Wheaties boxes. Kids should want to be in the drops sprinting to the next telephone pole and not riding wheelies into oncoming traffic. As a start, I think we need to lobby GCN to get some coverage.

It was aggressive and probably ill-advised but now you guys at least know what sort of effort it takes to make a move like that and how long you can sustain it before they come back. Fun stuff to watch! Also, i wonder if Jeff or Sam stays on the Legion wheel, their train might deliver you right to the finishline after chasing the big move? Like send one sprinter with your leadout and one/two guys to ride Legion's train as the final counter-punch.
