One ring to rule them all.
Someone on Reddit made this map but I posted it to the WorldBox Discord (with credit of course) for download!

I wish copyright wasn't so stinky, this video would have been *elevated* with the Lord of the Rings soundtrack blaring in the background. OH WELL.
Fr copyright is annoying
Hi Gorg, can you please do the days of the year with traits corresponding to each day?
My friend, you bow to no one. Ty for the scenario
You should do this again but include heros and villans with like the demigod trait or powerful weapons and armour something(Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Balrog, Sauron, Saruman, etc.)
Eh, Stanley parable elevator music is way better
Angmar was the real MVP here ; being at war against the Shire , Erebor , Rivendell and Moria and managing to defeat them while at the same time sending enough reinforcements to Isengard for it to stay alive and thrive .
Well observed and pointed out.
Real life Prussia
I was rooting for the Witch King from the start, glad to see the his hour is at hand!
canon
"One does not simply hang out in mordor" Elves and Dwarves:"how bout i do it anyways" _loses despite having higher population because of dumb ai_
they were prepping for when the ring arrives and they can destroy it, sadly, the ring never did arrive.
@@TheHuffur FOR MORDOR erm i mean FOR GONDOR
Orcs are ridiculously strong as well, any group of 700 or more are a threat because not only are they very strong but they seem to have an advantage in troop percentage as well. Even if at a lower tech level they have half the population as army which makes things worse, either the number advantage or the health and damage not both, its too much.
@@TheHuffurGoddamn FedEx, never bringing the packages on time.
I don't think the AI is the problem but orcs in worldbox are just so horrendously OP.
Theoden: Where was Gondor when the westfold fell Gorg: They were responsible That part killed me lmao
I was looking for this exact comment :D
This really represented one of the primary themes of LOTR, that it takes selflessness and activism to stop evil from conquering the world. Even if you aren't under immediate threat, allowing evil to conquer your neighbors and grow in strength will do nothing but leave you vulnerable to their might in the end. In this video, the forces of good spent too much time smoking pipeweed and eating potato stew to fight back.
I don't think "activism" is the right word.
It's really cool seeing how the Allies work together wish worldbox officially added to the game in a future update
That aged well

the books were better they were really good but not as good as hunger games
Hi do you by chance know the name for those mods? I haven’t had much luck looking for them on my own.
@@daltonsharp6254 there names are in the description
But then add nurn and harad on the side of the baddies
Maybe add Elrond?
the ending is actually rather lore accurate, the only reason the good guys won in the end was the ring being destroyed and mordor collapsing in on itself
Yes, but the dwarf did defeated the orcs kingdoms in the north. And without that it would have been another story.
Here are some future suggestions for future lotr videos! Trolls= Orcs, but with giant, stupid, fat and ugly traits Hobbits= Dwarves, but with Tini, Attractive and Agile traits Also would be great if some specific characters are added, such as Sam, Gimli and Gandolf for example, looking forward to it!
goblins are orcs
@@domino_201 oops
i never understood the attractive hobbit thing i understand it on a fetish lvl but it's just..lots of "okay"
Do you wish for, as they call elves call him, Mithrandir, or, for dwarves, Tharkun, on north Gandalf, on ancient west Olorin, on south Incanus, but no name for east, as he doesn't visit it?
very good idea
In actuality, Mirkwood "Woodland Realm" was a lot smaller. The elves only controlled 1/5th of the Northern parts of Mirkwood, near the "Forest River," neighboring the Raft Elves, while the middle was full of skin-changers, and then the south was inhabited by the Necromancer, his undead, his orcs, and the spiders. There are less elves in Mirkwood than there are in Lorien and their realm is comparably sized to that of Rivendell. The most populous places inhabited by the elves are Lindon, beyond the North-Western mountain range, across from the Shire, near the sea, Lorien, and Grey haven, from most populous to least populous. Goblin Town and Mount Gundabad also had huge populations of orcs. Mount Gundabad was where from the majority of the orcs came from that took Moria and attacked Erebor. Not lacking any numbers.
Yeah, mirkwood isn't exactly "good land" because. Dol Guldur. So these ones are really *greenwood* elves, without the corruption
to make bridges over rivers, you can put single tiles diagonally from each other kinda like a chessboard if water was white and land was black this also makes it so boats can still pass on the water tiles
Me: "Lord of the Rings trivia?! What a NERD!" Also me: Knowing everything you were saying and in my head digging up more trivia.
I was a bit sad that there was no numenor, with super humans
I mean numenor did sink into the ocena by the time the war of the ring happened@@torniki2131
5:12 killed me. "they were responsible" xD the cuts to the movie were all brilliant!
Absolutely amazing. Also tbh nerd reveal better than face reveal

YAAAS! Been waiting on a Lord of the Rings Map for a while!!! AWESOME
Me too
This is so cool! can't believe it wasn't already done in the channel, you need to do it a second time, free for all next time! loved the memes and references!
For future reference gondor and minas tirith are not two seperate factions. Minas tirith is gondors home capitol.
Pretty sure he knew that he just wanted to make sure Gondor would actually be be occupied by humans imo
I’d love to see this play out with some custom heroes or traits. Like a super powerful Sauron leading Mordor but when he dies all evil factions get a debuff. Or a condition that if the Shires Hero (maybe they get Sam and Frodo) somehow makes it across the map next to mount doom all of Mordor gets nuked!
Maybe a titan dragon to cause chaos and represent all the crazy dragons in LOTR lore
@@fivefs there’s really only 3 dragons. Smaug, and two others from the silmarillion I forgot the names of
As someone who is reading Lord Of The Rings this maps helps me understand the book so much better
My respect and enjoyment for your content just went up so much, i love the lord of the rings and the map looks epic
This definitely needs to be done again. It's a great idea but you came up with many many other good additions and added them all in as the game progressed which probably effected the outcome a lot. The real Volcano, more living trees, towers, etc. Were all really good ideas. Heroes and Demi Gods need to be added next time around as well
I like to think that Angmar works as the dark forces in this timeline of the lore. Their powers seep into the nearby peaceful lands, and the darkness of their hearts turns them to cause ruin within their own nations. Because we know through the Ring that the forces of evil seek to twist and corrupt the pure and noble.
That's actually pretty much exactly the theme of the original version of Lord of the Rings Online : Shadow of Angmar. There's no real open war like there would be in the east, but Angmar is waking up again and spreading their influence and sowing the seeds of evil in Eriador with its agents. The threat is a lot more subtle, but it's very real and needs to be dealt with
Video Idea: Orcs have run through a Death Gauntlet to beat up Dwarves
Great video! Really nice to see how the lore combines with WorldBox. Loved the memes!
I love this guys content its amazing. This is way underated
I love your videos and your editing
I'm just being picky here ^^ You should've added Lindon, Iron Hills dwarves, the Harad and the Easterlings and maybe Goblintown imo. Why separate Gondor from Minas Tirith ? I like the idea of adding Moria even though not lore friendly. Same with Angmar. Btw if you wanted to mix the timeline and give Angmar an actual enemy Arnor would've been great
Amazing video! I wouldn't mind more Lotr themed videos!! Having the southern gondor city be harrad, umbar or dol amranth would've been cool!
*silmarillion music intensifies*
I LOVE watching a fellow lotr nerd, well, _nerd out_ with stuff like this.
Congratulations on 105k!!!
This is so amazing, I love this channel. My life has been dedicated to LOTR and Star Wars thus far
It would have been cool to get easterlings, and aranor because you didn't care about the time line
If you want to recreate star wars there is a sci fi version of world box and i recommend a game called galimulator you can recreate star wars pretty much
I crave more of this. Love to see this tried a second time, or with different games/book/movies lore!
Thank you for staying up till the end!
Great video, I really enjoyed it. The map was awesome and I really enjoyed watching the kingdoms of middle earth battle it out different then in the books/movies. I was very happy to see that the fight for minas tirith was accurate. It’s not like I wanted for everything to be accurate but the location of the fighting was perfect.
Yay, I was waiting for another vid!!!
This just reminded me how much I love Lord of The Rings... I'm gonna watch the trilogy again before the series comes out. Maybe watch The Hobbit movies again too... Middle-Earth is just always a good time!
All the sillyness and lotr memes in this were great. Very entertaining
I absolutely love the LotR, so this was an amazing vid to see xD
"The good guys remain pretty passive". That sums up the gist of the whole movie
My favorite part is the beginning where we are just agreeing on how awesome lotr is.
Yay I love this alternative ending thanks for making this
You should do it again! This time with Aragorn and Gandalf at least, see if make difference. I'm sure everyone will like!! Maybe the War of Wrath in Beleriand as well!
Been waiting for someone to do this one
This was more entertaining than the rings of power. 10/10
if this was your only video, I would STILL want to subscribe to you!!
Great video! If you do this again, you should add Rhun and Harad.
You the goat for this
Great video as always
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who remembers or even seen the series, RACE TO THE MOON, but I remembered it immediately when the music came in in at 10 minutes, idk but this gave me some awesome memory's.
"One does not simply walk into Mordor." Erebor: "This sign can't stop me because I can't read."
I just found this channel today never even heard of this game.
If you made the orc/goblin army it would be unstopable
I think the Shire's war against Angmar works better if you think of them as Arnor, as Angmar even controlled Rhudaur at the start, like in the books.
I should probably watch Lord of the Rings. Looks like a good movie
Awesome play of an alternate Middle-earth history, I enjoyed watching it, though it was sad to see the good guys had lost. I would like to see a version of this with Numenor as the focus. Or involve the Eastgerlings and Southrons. That would be cool.
Thankfully you didnt put the high elven realm of lindon great video man really enjoyed it oh yeah you forgot to put rhun and harad
The Lords of the Rings is such an awesome movie.
Mirkwood and Erebor: Hold the Black Gate and Ûdun! Gondor: Everyone else is dead, please do something! Mirkwood and Erebor: We are! We're holding the Black Gate and Ûdun! Gondor: *F'in dies*
When Mellon and gorg post ohhhhh so good
Pretty cool video. You such give them iconic characters next time.
10:54 I'd say it's a good thing that there are no elephants, otherwise they would just go kill the dorfs like they did at Boatmurdered.
Yes, but strategic lava deployment in the shape of volcanoes would stop them, with No Further Consequences™️

As an Angmar player in Lotr, I gotta Say what Angmar has been doing Is pretty accurate. We too are basically Saving Isengard's cheeks because they are AI RN. We could take them out, but we would be seen as bad guys. Meanwhile Mordor Is self dependent
Bro this is amazing
I haven't finished yet but if it's hard to end u should just do part 2 or something
my inner nerd enjoyed this a lot
Would love to see a redo of this, and just place like every single known location. Dwarves in the Blue Mountains, Bree, Harad, add an Easterling camp on the very edge of the map, the Grey Havens. I do like how you split Minas Tirith from the rest of Gondor. It's just too big of an area, and Rohan isn't as densely populated, so it makes sense just to have one spot, but maybe Helms Deep could be added too. And maybe have Laketown or Dale for some early action with Erebor.
Fairly new to the channel and hesitant to pitch an idea (since I almost want to get the game to try it myself). But it'd be cool to recreate Azeroth from WoW. I don't play Warcraft anymore, but hypothetical AI battles would be awesome. - The Alliance could use humans + dwarves + a white mage + fairly "positive" traits (maybe elves as well for the night elves) in Alliance territories - The Horde could use orcs with aggressive traits + an evil mage + a small band of (blood) elves with the greedy and ambitious traits (in Horde territories) - The Scourge wouldn't be able to have their own faction, but you could smack a necromancer and a crapload of skeletons in Northrend - And if you want to go overboard (probably not since I know it's reserved for milestones), you could create subfactions like the Defias Brotherhood in Westfall, plague doctors & zombies for the Forsaken in Tirisfal, giant vrykul (humans/dwarves) in Northrend, sand spiders around Silithus/Tanaris, volcanos/demons in the Burning Steppes/Blasted Lands/Searing Gorge, and whatever else comes to mind. Definitely doing it on my own at some point regardless.
I have now tried it, and it all went pretty well.
Bro you are so BIG 100k subs in 6 months WOW
Dope, good job 👍
Next : Westeros's map
Could you do a Westeros one?
THANK YOU!
no woord, no minerals, and no food. amazing video..
”I wonder what would happen if the elves were more aggressive” Does no one remember the slaughter of the Teleri?
"one does not simply walk into mordor", years without seeing this meme lmao
You should do this again but in the second age when Numenor was still a thing. The map being flat would be more canon as well 😂
So cool idea!
You need to redo it adding the main characters of each faction, like Frodo & Gandalf (Eriador-Shire), Thranduil & Legolas (Mirkwood), Aragorn & Elrond (Rivendel), King Dain & Gimli (Erebor), Galadriel & Celeborn (Lorien), Sauron & Witch-King (Mordor), Saruman & Lurtz (Isengard), ecc. Like the demi-gods you've done before. Spanning it on multiple videos it would make a great project. With a lot of main characters to follow each with singular traits... But I do not want to make it too hard, it's great to dream about it though. 😊
This was fun!
This makes me want to play the Mount and Blade LotR mod again
you should have done like the dwarfs of the lonely mountian from the hobbit as well as that lakeville place
For the next one, I think you should put the for species one 4 big square islands in the for corners separated by a mountain barrier and after 500 years you remove the barrier and each race gets 5 traits, since elves and dwarves have 1 trait they’ll get 4 and orcs get 3 since they have 2. And everyone starts with coffee. Traits Humans: Mage Slayer, Dragon Slayer, King Slayer, Strong and Veteran Elves: Weightless, Fast, Sonic Speed, Agile and Wise Orcs: Regeneration, Savage, Giant, Strong Minded and Tough Dwarves: Miner, Genius, Super Intelligence, Shadow Summoner and Attractive Slogans ( optional but fun) Humans: STRONK Elves: Everybody super sonic racing there’s no time to move around Orcs: Big bois Dwarves: This is big brain time Mods Modern city: Optional but fun Trait Bonanza: You need it for sonic speed and shadow summoner Note: Dwarves get two modded traits since in my opinion they’re the weakest race since they populate super slow, have the shortest life span, are only good once they unlock Adamantine and hate Elves which are basically the Dwarves-B-Gone race. Also orcs don’t get a modded trait since they’re orcs and are overpowered.
You should do this again but make all of the countries proportional to their inbook power
18:36 The elves doing their part. Now, just guarding the steps of Mount Doom until a certain shireling arrives.
Where can I find the map used in the video? I really like it.
I just sit around playing mobile games with your videos in the background
"For hobbits, I took a dwarf and made them even smaller." I don't know why that made me laugh so much.
Should've made Rivendell an enchanted biome. But you're right, the LotR trilogy were some of the best films ever made. I still remember when they came out. It was movie magic. Trotk was coming out, and it was everything fans anticipated and more. How often do sequels satisfy audiences today? I consider myself lucky to have seen it in theaters. I remember toward the end trying to hide my face from my friends in the theater because I didn't want them to see me crying, but turns out they were both crying too 😂
i think i have to rewatch LOTR again
5:59 "its would make a lot of sense if they got wiped out cuz it actually happens, spoilers" GOOD JOB YODA

Thx. I love Arda lore. 😊
“The books are fantastic” Me: reads 4 pages of a song
I'm happy with the result, cuz I rooted for Angmar the whole entire video.
Angmar and the Hobbits fighting on Fornost again Yeah sure the Hobbits weren't the main force of the Free Peoples back then, but they did help!
FINALLY, something good
Mirkwood is a huge forest, but I think the late third age elven realms only cover a fraction of that territory and even that would have a lower population density than a feudal realm like Gondor.
