I'm 51 and have always been a die hard metal head. I will die a metal head. When bands like this come out I'm like a teenager all over again. People hear me coming and when they see this little old lady get out of my truck they can't believe I'm thrashing to heavy metal. Rock on. I always will. Peace

You're not an "old lady" yet at 51. I'm 53 and that would make me an old man and, naa ! I ain't old yet. I've played drums in heavy metal bands since age 19 or 20. Yor only as old as you let yourself feel. Or maybe if you have an old man, then that would maybe qualify you as someones 'ol lady but cut it out, you can't make me feel old! Ha Ha.

In 2008 I deployed to Iraq. I extended my tour of duty after my first was done for a whole year more. A year and half in country I got moved up north to Baghdad. I just came inside the wire from a night long patrol mission. On the way to the chow hall, someone stopped and asked us if we would like to PSD (Personal Security Detail) for some band. Honestly, I didn't even know who they were. I hadn't heard their music either. I half sarcastically said yes and the condition was that it was that same day of we didn't get to go rack out we went straight to the airfield to await the arrival in a C-130 and would work up until their departure sometime that next night. Which we did. The band was amazing, I felt like I hadn't felt in so long. Brightest part of that tour of duty. I've been a fan ever since and any time I hear their music I get very emotional, no matter the song. FFDP, thank yo for being the best thing about my PTSD. You guys are amazing and do some much for the troops and vet community. Oh and after we pulled PSD and they left sometime in the night, I turned right around and went back on mission outside the wire for that night. Best 72 hours without sleep ever.

It’d be way better than some of the crap that’s been out. I remember thinking Hinder and Buckcherry would be awesome. There was a saying by Ron White “I believe a bad half-time show is better than a soccer game”. However, time has changed. I’d rather watch a soccer game than whatever that act was the last Super Bowl. Please let Bad Wolves, 5FDP, or godsmack do a halftime show with some good music.

I discovered your band maybe a year ago, quite long after I got out from my depressions and suicidal thoughts, but many of your songs could have helped me a lot back in those days. Reading the coments, I must totally agree, your songs are saving lives and helping people to stand up back on their feet. I can recomend some other songs that are litteral life-savers: 'Reason to Believe' by Arch Enemy or 'Beyond' by Rage of Light. The former one helped me a lot. I wish there were more songs like these. So many people need help, but are afraid of asking for it or don't know anyone to ask and alone they can't find a way. But these songs can help and are helping, so share them with anyone you see having troubles.

I am one of the few 7th graders in my school that listens to heavy metal, and I don't look like I do either, I am a small shy girl what never talks about anything metal. But then when we can listen to music at school, I bust out my headphones and listen to FFDP. People look over at my computer and start to do one of three three things, laugh, ask about why I listen to it, or look away like they are disgusted. I have only met one person in my life that has the same interests in music as me, and though I won't reveal her name, she taught me that you should be proud of what you like, and even if others don't like that, don't let that stop you from liking what you like. This band has given me confidence to do so many new things, and meet so many new people. once you cross that boundary from being scared to show people who you really are, and excepting yourself for who you are, you will have so much more fun in life. so please take this as a sign that you are worth something, no matter who you are, or what you like, because there will always be someone with the same interests as you. you just might have to open your eyes and look around you

It took me a long time to realize that when I was in school. The best thing I can recommend is to just keep a watchout for the right group of people and become friends with them, dont change for someone else. Also High School is a new start, that's when I realized that i didnt care about what people thought about me or what I listen to. I just found a couple of groups who liked what I did and hung out with them.

I'm waiting here for anyone To wash it all away Wash it all away I'm wasting here with everyone Just wash it all away I'm waiting here for anyone To wash it all away Wash it all away [Outro] Wash it all away
Bobby Collins Thank you for your service brother. sincerely.
Bobby Collins God bless mate
Thank you for your service. my brother is in the navy. God bless

@@RyansReaper I was speaking more in regards to the woke bullshit and cancel culture getting their 15 mins of fame in the last few years. Tbh, I miss the 90's.
FACTS!!
True very true
They don’t only provide amazing music but also they are amazing people!!
being a Marine combat veteran who survived hell on the battlefield. During the Mothers day 1969 Arizona battles where death and dying happened all around us. Lots of anger and rage inside of me and guilt for surviving when others next to me died. First heard this music and it calmed down my inner rage
thank you for the peace my sons and i know too well. i hope you find yours. godspeed
I am 61 years and just found this band . YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!
Oof I'm only 13 and found it at 12 cus my older sister but yay more ppl
*pun intended*
Ya never to old for heavy metal
ya they so rock
i am 18. i'm from Italy and i love them too! music is the only thing that can take together a lot of generations, from children to elders!
These guys should play the Superbowl. Would be kickass!!!!!
People's Heads would EXPLODE!!!!!
Amen to that! And not to mention it would be better then the previous one...
They should sing a metal sweet victory
Too bad if they did a whole generation of kids would kill themselves ODing on Xanax and downers. Oh wait...it'd save them! #fuckMumbleRap
How good is that voice!! Man that dude can sing, makes such a difference when he mixes it up. Top song 👌
I love the support that FFDP gives towards Veterans. Thank you gentlemen.
Yeah, Roger that Cory. Thanks DP
Very true,we are 8 generation military and it means so much support from amazing talent

Man...I grew up in an abusive household, joined the Marined in 03, went to combat in Fallujah, lost my 11 year old son unexpectedly, went through two divorces, and I am still here. Music gets me by. So many people don't know my struggle but I refuse to quit for my wife and her two kids. Thank you for the music you make.
What a story man , keep fighting brother ❤

I am one of the few 7th graders in my school that listens to heavy metal, and I don't look like I do either, I am a small shy girl what never talks about anything metal. But then when we can listen to music at school, I bust out my headphones and listen to FFDP. People look over at my computer and start to do one of three three things, laugh, ask about why I listen to it, or look away like they are disgusted. I have only met one person in my life that has the same interests in music as me, and though I won't reveal her name, she taught me that you should be proud of what you like, and even if others don't like that, don't let that stop you from liking what you like. This band has given me confidence to do so many new things, and meet so many new people. once you cross that boundary from being scared to show people who you really are, and excepting yourself for who you are, you will have so much more fun in life. so please take this as a sign that you are worth something, no matter who you are, or what you like, because there will always be someone with the same interests as you. you just might have to open your eyes and look around you
slime tree honestly I get that same reaction
I remember being alone in school listening to Korn's new album Issues back in the year 2000 and I feeling the same. It took too long for me to meet people that liked the same music I do.
It took me a long time to realize that when I was in school. The best thing I can recommend is to just keep a watchout for the right group of people and become friends with them, dont change for someone else. Also High School is a new start, that's when I realized that i didnt care about what people thought about me or what I listen to. I just found a couple of groups who liked what I did and hung out with them.
be glad that you're not into death metal yet, pup!
i’m a 9th grader girl, shy and i like heavy metal. are you me?
You can just feel the pure rebellion coming from Ivan's voice, can't You? 🤘🤘

I am so happy that I am not the only one who sees this song as a reflection of how they feel sometimes regardless of how they got there.
You're not alone brother. We all end up in those valleys sooner or later. It's how you fight your way out and how strong you are when you get to the other side that matters. Keep fighting bro and don't ever forget there's a bunch of us out here. We understand even when it feels like you're alone.

We are still here listening supporting the band all the best to hook and Spencer on their new endeavor keep on rocking guys
Hopefully all keeps coming
these guys are badass as fuck and they support the military...I mean come on they deserve a fuck ton of respect
I love the support but it doesn't automatically mean a fuck ton of respect. I come from a long line of military and I'd rather have respect to show but not constant just so everyone knows you're a supporter. Half the "supporters" don't do anything to help the military but there are those who do something about it! anyways, just a thought and I like how you love the support 5fdp holds. \m/

Just don't go to war, the world doesn't need you
I'm not from your country but I support what you said. I love the sound of them and the support they give the troops of their country.
ed rosa bro I can join come back and not fill shit for all the people I would kill
I do not like other rock/metal bands, but Five Finger Death Punch really sets off that medium for me. They sing about things that actually matter. Wash It All Away, Remember Everything and Wrong Side of Heaven are my favourite ones as they tackle some really good issues while, at the same time, giving us awesome music. What about that drum and guitar solos in 2:12 of this video tho. That was fuckin badass.
Disturbed is another that has a lot of meaning in their lyrics..
