I'm 20 and dropped out of college a year ago, had nothing in my life besides this music. Now I'm working my dream job as a tax accountant and still playing this music at my desk as I go through each day at the office. I hope anyone who reads this is doing well... because I finally am :) Just a follow up-- Thank you for the love and support :D I've learned so much and am still working hard! I'm about to be 21 and am living in my own house! If I can help anyone with what I've learned as I struggled to turn my life around, it's to seriously be yourself and believe in yourself! I know it's cliché, but I can't stress how important it is to take care of yourself and only surround yourself with positive energy and uplifting people. Best era of music....we are entitled to our opinions but heavily disagree.
I remember 2 years ago I started studying for a certification so I could start looking for a better job and start a new career. I had a terrible job that had me mad depressed and I dreaded work. I spent many nights listening to these songs and studying for hours. I would always just stop and listen with my eyes closed envisioning a better future for myself. A few months pass and I passed my certification and begin my job hunt. I finally found a decent job in the career field I wanted and I finally could quit my toxic job. Now I'm at a even better job, it's everything I wanted and everything I worked for, I'm so happy. This music brings me memories of those long determined nights of studying and how a strong will you can allow you achieve anything you set your mind to. Thank you for this music, it helped me stay focused on the end goal.

This is the year I started listening to Chillhop, I was a Sophomore in High school, its crazy that 10th grade was almost 10 years ago now, I just remember listening to this and looking out the window in the bus, I lived out in the country so the bus ride took about an hour, that hour was a beautiful time to just vibe out.
Sometimes music reminds of the past, when the time wasn't elapsed and my mind was on my path. When I tried to find the facts amidst societal collapse, they said it's crazy, and questioning the recipe was hate speech. If you're living a lie in the river of time your soul shivers and sighs and then pitifully dies. An infinite sky is above, I fly as a dove in my dreams over scenes, and then keyboard and screen. To believe in what's seen has never been wrong - the daylight remains quite in debt to the dawn.

That first Nymano song just sets a beautiful stage for the rest of the mix, a callback to the emotions first experienced when watching CB in the late 90s.
