I so agree, I can see that fake tan stuff on woman from a distance, it completely ruins their look! There’s nothing wrong with having pale, or dark, skin, every color is beautiful in its natural state. British women especially think there is something “wrong” with light skin, but there isn’t, it’s very attractive, especially to men. I have always worn high-SPF sunscreen daily and at age 64, most people take me for 45 or so, it’s made a huge difference in my skin quality. I love minimal, natural-looking makeup, too, no false eyelashes or heavy black eye makeup, especially for daytime. French women do the classy, natural and elegant look best! I’ve always emulated their look since I met two French lady colleagues in the early 80s, when I began my corporate career. They always looked naturally-beautiful, classic and stunning in their simple, timeless outfits, makeup and hair.
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 thank you. I am a French woman and live in Miami and I stand up like a sore thumb. I am pale, no fake eyelashes, no extensions....and barely any makeup. I see so many young pretty women in Miami putting too much and fear for their future selfs.

“Since the weather gets warmer and drier, one can finally wear white pants”- I cried in Irish at that 😭I’ve been waiting years for such a day 😂 The trench is definitely an essential for me- I found an oversized one that is tailored for petite by chance in a thrift store and I’ve already worn it maybe twenty times since I bought it in March, and only paid the equivalent of 15 euro for it. The tailoring definitely makes the difference as does having the right shade. Great that there are so many on the pre-loved market. ❤ I would be interested in hearing about how Lilysilk clothing wears over time/how many washes it can stand etc as I have not yet purchased from this brand.

@@ParisianVibeParis is one of my favourite cities to visit particularly the 18th arrondis! ❤ 🇫🇷 ❤ I think key with the petite trench is to have a longer length (just above shoes when in sneakers) which might be counter-intuitive to some but it elongates my frame (I’m 5 ft 2) and also my trench is in the same shade as my eye colour (blueish green with grey tones) and I also think this elongates- not sure there’s science behind that! 😂 Thank you for that information about Lilysilk, good to know! Silk is an amazing transitional fabric so I never mind the investment- same with cashmere.

It’s true I’ve purchased their items over years and they hold really well. I just wash them on delicate program and never had to take them to dry cleaners.
I immediately recognized the beautiful Lily Silk pieces because I have them already! Like all their items, they are first-quality, and silk jersey, as in the striped top and skirt, is my favorite fabric of all to wear, it’s sublimely comfy and seasonless. Because I’m petite, the cropped striped knit comes just to the skirt waistband on me, perfect, I don’t want to show my aged tummy skin. (I did choose the Sezane Betty navy cardigan, rather than your LS one, because I prefer collars on my “lady jackets” (or “lady cardigans”). Just to note: your undies are visible, I would wear different ones, or just size up on the striped skirt and top, they look quite snug. Thanks for sharing your styling with us❤

I can see your underpants line under the lovely striped skirt. I like trench coats but as the day gets warmer, you have to carry them around so I opt for a shorter jacket that is less bulky and may even fit inside my bag. Love the pussybow blouse with the jeans and navy cardy

Beautiful, but Have you noticed that most people in the background are actually wearing mostly black-as in most cities? They are also wearing heavier layers and coats. A silk trench coat really will Not keep you warm or even dry-especially where I live. Our spring is different . . .😂
