I conducted an update that aired in January of this year that aired on OWN’s IFML. However to all those who haven’t seen the episode and are interested in an update...my children are doing well, I am happily divorced (Thelisha Glover) and dating. I am currently in med school to become a Physician Assistant (Morehouse School of Medicine) and me and my children are healing together from the wounds of our past. To those who are in toxic relationships, there is hope and a way of escape. You must have faith in God, believe in yourself, get the help needed to escape, and most of all DO THE WORK! Update: I looked up Thelisha on social media. Looks like she divorced him, as she goes by Thelisha Glover now, which I’m assuming is her maiden name. (If they did divorce, I’m glad. Never thought I would be so happy for a dissolution of someone else’s marriage, but oh boy, that marriage was so incredibly unhealthy and toxic.) And it looks like she’s currently in medical school to become a Physician Assistant, which is incredible! I pray that Thelisha is healing and I pray that she has a happy and more fulfilling life.
