  • You deserve a lot more viewers and more importantly many more "LIKES" for the skill it takes to build from "Real Scrap" to a precision machine. It is very easy to do these with expensive milling and surface grinding machines but you have shown how it can be done with simple hand tools and good thoughtful design and measurements along the way

  • Lol was that a tie rod tool I saw you use as a clamp?? 🤣 It definitely works... I'm building a lathe on a heavy I beam I found.. I made one a while ago but I didn't have heavy enough steel it did work tho and I was able to make some things like aluminum wheels and hubs and bronze bushings no problem but I twisted the bed it was only 1/4" C channel... The new lathe is all 1/2" or thicker coming out much better I have some videos I'm working on cutting dovetails for the cross slide now its a lot of work cutting heavy steel with a grinder and hack saw lol
