It’s so interesting watching form the perspective of someone who doesn’t know the backstory, because although she has no idea she’s still fully enjoying the song having no idea. It just proves how good it really is, the lyrics are amazing but not only that she can sing! Which many people can’t actually most of the now. It was INCREDIBLY bold to debut with a sing like this with mentions of people with so much more recognition than herself, we really need more people like her in the upcoming industry.

the secondary chorus that she does later in the song starting with "red lights, stop signs" helps to song so much, it just gives me chills especially when the bridge hits, and some of my favourite songs have that secondary chorus and these songs do really good, they bulid on the chorus and then a little hook starting with that secondary chorus, i absolutely LOVE THAT!
