It was by the biggest bully in NATO (not NATO per se), with the laughable excuse that it was a mistake because they used an old map. XJP is sending the message - we have not forgotten what you did then.

    • @@farerolobos9382 on February 19th, early morning, a group of five crossed the border from Ukraine into Russia by foot and engaged border guards. All five didn't survive the fire fight they started. All five were wearing straps, patches and metal badges identifying them as servicemen of a specific Ukrainian army unit on February 20th, also early morning, another group of five crossed the border from Ukraine into Russia in an armored vehicle and fired its cannon onto a public toilet on Russian soil. The toilet was completely destroyed by the shell. By 6 am armored vehicle was destroyed and burnt brightly on Russian soil. The numbers on its haul clearly attributed to a specific Ukrainian army unit This is something Russia couldn't let go - because allowing it would be an invitation to foreign tanks ride around Russia shooting at random houses So Russia made a move, a political one - it acknowledged LPR and DPR Then LNR and DNR asked Russia to help protect them. In response to their request Russia started Special Military Operation Ukraine invaded Russia, not vice versa

      @alexpodgaets5658@alexpodgaets565815 күн бұрын
    • @@farerolobos9382 First of all Russia did not invade Ukraine because if Russia had invaded Ukraine, Ukraine would not exist today. If in you are saying that than you are repeating the same lie as the western media. Me coming from a former soviet country Moldova, being born during The Soviet Union, knowing the history of both countries, having friends from both sides who can confirm this, I can say that Russia did not invade Ukraine. Russia went into Ukraine first of all to protect its borders from Nato expantion which Russia is seeing as a threat to its security and to stop rhe Genocide which has been going on for more than 8 years on the ethnic Ukranian, Russian population in eastern Ukraine. Something which was shown in the media in my country. And the blame for this killing on the civilian ethnic ukranian, russian population is on the ukranian army. Now in the beginning Russia tried to solve this conflict the peacefull way but of course the west, Nato, USA and the ukranian government do not want peace but for the war to go on until the last ukranian. Historically a big part of Ukraine is Russian and the other part, parts of belonged to Hungary, Poland, Romania and so on. That is why you have a big ethnic ukranian russian population living mainly in the western Ukraine. And if you go longer back in history Ukraine did no exist as a country. In fact the ukranian language is a dialect of the russian language, the same as my language is a dialect of the romanian language. Because historically a big part of Moldova was part of Romania.

  • The main thing that bothers me about this entire SMO is the total poppycock that's been sold to the American people throughout. Not just the lack of accountability for the role of NATO expansion in causing all of this, but the absolutely false picture of the strategic situation that American media has been force-feeding the people for many years. The amount of aid that has been sent has been orders of magnitude too little to change the strategic picture. The amount of aid that the NATO nations are capable of providing is darn near an order of magnitude too little. We just don't have the industrial capacity to match what the Russians and their friends are capable of producing. The USA needs to pull in its horns. It's not 1947 any more.

    @harrymills2770@harrymills277015 күн бұрын
    • I was shocked at how the combined aid of NATO could not match a single Russia. The West has lost it's industrial capacity and need to make weapons to NATO specifications.

  • I'm in Canada. Recently the Bank of Canada released a horrifying report saying that the two youngest active generations in my country (millennials and zoomers) will never have access to property, because of the artificial housing crisis orchestrated by the landlord class. Only 25% of Canadians will be able to buy a house, in the forseeable future, and a laughable 50% can think of "buying" a condo. It is infinitely offensive, to learn that Chinese people my age can own a place to live for 42,000$. And still, my government is adamant that China is evil... If I wasn't already HELLA radicalized, that would probably do it...

    • If what you say is right, then we have another country as nuts as Ulraine, cos if only 25% will own homes, that means 75% can vote for a new party who will kick out the landlords and return homes to ordinary folk. Ukrainians havent got much rattling round upstairs or they would get rid of the lesders and stop the war. United, we rule, divided, they rule.

  • Danny, I think the AID has nothing to do with Ukraine. Look into this war as a marketing campaign. The USA's largest industry is weapons. To pay their debt the weapons industry needs to make sales. For weapons you need wars. So they did all the marketing for Patriot Systems, Tanks, and all the arsenal they have. If they were superior to Russian Weapons everyone would have ordered these weapons and the USA would not need AID to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. Since the orders didn't come in as hoped, the USA now has AID packages that directly go to their own weapons industry. Why not use the money to buy weapons somewhere else?

    • War itself is business, no matter where in the world. It doesn't necessarily have to be won. You can't win a war with weapons alone, you still need soldiers who can use them and a strategy. Israel has been supported by the US by default for ages, as has Ukraine since its independence. Both states would not be able to survive without support.

When the bloodlust in any society, no matter how civilized, runs high it has no perceptible effect on the behavior of the participants. "War crimes" is, by definition, an oxymoron. All the United Nations bylaws and Geneva conventions and Global agreements that have been debated and solemnly agreed to are, in reality, a convenient unguent to cover over our true face. As "civilized" as Russia has been in it's targeting,, compared to Israel, there would be a complete reversal in tactics if the need for vengeance was reversed. Keep up the good work Danny.

Something that might make it easier to decode is that Ukrainian doesn't have a soft "H" sound. Wherever you see "H" it's a hard "G". So Krasnohorivka is pronounced "krass-nuh-GOR-uhv-ka" "Vuhledar" is "foo-gluh-DAR". Confusing as heck (geck!) I know, I have to read and pronounce out loud several times before I get it right. • There absolutely are cases where a war was started by the weaker side. Latest example would be Georgia attacking Russian peacekeepers in 2008(?). Even the EU admitted that Georgia started this mess. You could also argue, that Japan started the war against the US from a weak position. And I'm sure historians could name a bunch of other examples.

  • John Mearshiemer is good when he talks about Ukraine war or Gaza crisis, but he is totally wrong when he talks about possible conflict between US and China.

  • Excellent point with intelligence and military activities in any western embassy. More than that, Israel, technically, attacked two sovereign countries - Iran and Syria on which territory it was located.
