It’s because they dont pose a real interest to viewers, its more exciting when people groom a large dog because they’re bigger, have more risk, and are rarer, most people have small dogs.

I have a chihuahua and people are hating when in reality she's the sweetest dog ever to me. very cuddly too
My Grandparents had one named Sandy, when my sisters were 4 they took her out for a walk in the yard. They walked and she rode in the front pouch of a sweater. Sandy came inside and the poor desperate dog pooped the moment her feet hit the ground. We had to explain that even a friendly dog needs time on their feet to my sisters.
Chihuahuas are the sweetest most loyal dogs. It's my favorite breed.

@@rooish574 I'm not OP, but my dad has chihuahuas and, while they definitely have a favorite person, they will cuddle, play, and beg for food with just about anyone when he's not available. I remember them being barky with strangers when he first got them, but I don't know if that's still the case for anything other than squirrels and the front door (which could be squirrels)
Oh Vanessa, the timing of this video is so bittersweet. We just put down our 14 year old Shi/Chi yesterday. My family and I watched this together and reminisced about our sweet little Avery dog. We miss her so much. 🥹

NO idea why a smaller dog video gains fewer views. I am always amazed at how fearless you are when cutting nails. I have trepidation when I cut my own! Precious little pup. And her hair repair job makes her look ever prettier.

I like the round face best. She's utterly beautiful with that face trim just like that. It's flattering and makes her look even more precious. Her parents should remember this cut and repeat it exactly.
OMG is she precious. Boy does she tremble like my old girl did when it was her spa day. She says a lot with her eyes and facial expressions. Thank you Vanessa for taking care of her and getting her clean, dematted, and toenails cut.

I have 3 bigs and 2 littles, all rescues. They are quite a pack ❤ Just bathed them all yesterday... chaos! Lol.... I learn a lot from girl with the dogs. Thank you 😊
Oh my goodness! All in one day!?! That must take forever! 😊
I also learned a lot from her. Especially checking for mats more often and that it was okay to get my old cat used to having her paws touched (no matter how much the cat was not of this opinion!). Sadly, my cat was only open to it after her first stroke. But within the following months she slowly got used to having me brush her regularly, touching her paws from time to time and even allowed me to clip her nails, despite of her being terrified of the clipping noise. Shortly before her death, when I took the brushing comb, she smeared her face on it repeatedly, self-brushing her face and looking forward to being brushed. She was too much in pain by that time to groom herself sufficiently and realised that I started to do it for her to the best of my abilities. She was a wonderful and smart cat. (Before anyone criticises that I could have trained her earlier in her life, I only knew her for her last 2 years.)

Aw poor little fluff trembling😢. My mini rescue cavapoo went to a horrible groomer when I first got her and I really took an instant dislike to her when I picked her up afterwards. She had been recommended but I certainly wasn't returning there. I found one much nearer to home and asked if I could take her first to see how she reacted prior to her groom. The instantaneous cuddle and fuss decided it for me and my little girl adores her time there.
