    • How about a "how to do a sanitary trim" course? After paws, I think that's one a lot of people might appreciate. At least those with fluffy dogs. According to my vet, Miss Fluffy Britches, my Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix, should be getting regular sanitary trims of her booty fluff. She has a nasty UTI right now. Problem is, she's very afraid of the vet and I'm assuming will fear groomers too. And where I live, they want $100 just to do the sanitary trim, nothing else. Not even including a nail trim.

    • With my lack of Dexterity, meaning the flexibility of my arms and hands, I would not even try it! At least, with our dogs, we never had to do their nails. The Sidewalk wore them down enough. In so far as Toe Pads, I had never seen or heard of that done until I started watching your videos. I guess, that would have taken care of their, "Popcorn Paws"! (They always smelled like popcorn.).

Maybe you should find another pastime :) It's clear that they at least kept him brushed, even if not bathed. His coat would have been significantly more dirty, disgusting, and difficult to deal with had they not put in the effort to brush him. No mats at all! I'm glad they reached out to get him bathed, and hopefully now by seeing the results they pick up this habit as well. But that's certainly no reason to go out of your way to be nasty :)

Quite frankly, the owners probably didn’t have the space or a perceived need to bathe him, as Nigel seems like a pretty big boy, who was taking good care of his cleanliness on his own. The fact that his fur had no matting at all IS a testament to how loved Nigel is. It’s clearly a Herculean task to brush a boy that big.

She survived initially, but when she went to check and smell my boyfriend after help had arrived, she chose to pass along with him when she found he had gone. I lost my family on December 1st. Polar protected our mountain, our cats and chickens, our plants, and of course, she was committed to my honey & I. I miss them and can barely get by without them. There are some videos on my channel of her on our mountain and following along the atv, laying in the water...I miss them so much. Pyrenees are protectors & lovers.

The spa would get great coverage for their business and Vanessa, who grooms FOC, would get regular, professional FOC TLC. 😂😂

  • Hi Vanessa! I love you’re videos! A little tip I learned ~When washing these large, double-coated dogs I like to thoroughly blast the shampoo into the coat as it helps get all the way down to the skin and get all that dirt and grease out! I tend to avoid using the conditioner in these coats as I find it’s really hard to washout (especially if matted) and blasting out their coat can take even longer, as it makes there hair greasier and prevents the coat from blowing out as easily. You did an amazing job on this groom and hope this may help you out in the future when grooming these magnificent beasts! I’ve learned so much from your content and hope one day to complete a groom with you! Love from the UK! 💖✨🐶

  • He’s so gorgeous. We just rescued one of these beauties. We’ve owned many breeds over the last 40 years, Huskies, Goldens, Black Labs, but Buddy, our new GP has been a huge education on breed specific personality and training differences. But oh my goodness our family is in love with our goofy gentle giant. ❤❤❤
