  • This has to be the best 30 minute woodworking video I have ever watched. Cinematography was excellent, narration matched what your were doing, no run on's, no anoying music when it was present I hardly noticed it, which is how it should be. I love how when you make a mistake you show it, it makes the beginner feel like a normal person. Most of all the subject and instruction were helpful. I am inspired to produce content like this. Great job.

Your ability to identify a need, create elegant solutions and build them with extreme skill and care was a pleasure to watch. You have a rare and wonderful mix of skill and talent ... you are a true craftsperson. Cheers

  • I applaud you for crediting the videos that inspired you. So many times I see videos that people present ideas that are their own but are inspired (sometimes blatant rip-offs) by other's designs. Everyone likes to take the best ideas and try to combine them into their design. It's also convenient that you posted them to give us inspiration or a design that we like. 🙂

  • This was a very nice project and video coverage was great. I have to praise you too, for the use of interstitial music. I like a little music, but not when someone is talking. Also, I hate it when the music is so loud that I have to yank off my headphones. You got everything perfect on this one!

  • First time watching your channel and my first thought was, "You really have a well equipped shop!" I have been a finish carpenter for 25 years and mostly I carry a portable shop in my van and I set up what I can on each job, depending on available work area. Mostly, I build stairs and balustrades, custom doors and some built-in furniture. My shop at home is only a table saw, a drill press and a workbench. I have been making so much for so long with so few tools that I am now able to build almost anything with nearly no tools! You do nice work and I like your presentation.

  • You are so OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and that is a good thing, for a maker & carpenter.. loved the build.. I'm a retired master carpenter (I have detail related OCD (I'm a perfectionist)) I was a carpenter back in the day, way before computers or even phonematic nail guns or any battery tools.. Lots of tricks of the trades were lost, cause most tradesmen never shared their tricks with anyone, but they're apprentices and children.. Thanks to youtube and the early DIY shows on PBS, most of the old skills, methods & tricks won't be lost, also love watching the younger generation with a passion to build & create with they're own hands.. Thank you so much for sharing, you earned my subscription...

I don't have a big workshop with so many awesome tools so I have to focus on small bits of equipment that do lots of stuff well. I also have to be able to store them when I am done.
