  • This is actually a really clever way to make loot obtainable for everyone, instead of having to find a new structure every time! Amazing how far the game's design has come since the original dungeon structure from 15 years ago.

  • it would be sick if the loot you get from the Vault would scale progressively with the kind of loot the player has, like if they're wearing full diamond armor, maybe it would drop a diamond tool or sword or just some diamonds in general or something along those lines, that way end game players arent getting a bunch of junk iron stuff

  • After brainstorming for a bit I think I know how to fix the vault, it should be lootable multiple times, but every time it doubles the keys/adds Keys needed to open it, so maybe 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32. It should cap at around the 6-8 of opening it. another option is to give the key another use, my idea is that you can know craft a chest, with a key in the middle, after you craft it the key will be left behind in the crafting bench(same way bottles are left behind when crafting a honeyblock) and will get a glowing effect like enchanted items or another visual chance to indicate that its a key linked to a chest, because now that key will be the only way to open that chest, if the second option is used I would make it so that you can copy keys, either the map way or the smithing template way, with the second option i would also increase the items rarity a bit, otherwise you are going to have way more keys as you ever need in no time.

But you can get those items by 10 other ways even easier like treasure haunting, fishing, mining, trading, ecc... Minecraft doesn't have enough unique rewards (or to be precise It has 0 uniques) to justify all these ways to get them.

    • The problem is that Microsoft decided it doesn’t want Mojang to add many new things to the game because they don’t want it to feel “bloated”. So that wonderful variety of mobs and items and stuff you see in Dungeons and Legends, Microsoft is deliberately preventing Mojang from adding that to Minecraft. ​@@darklion98

  • Hide the dimensional door to encourage users' exploration rather than stable living. Create flying mounts by combining external wings and specific animals to differentiate them from regular mounts. Add a builder profession in the village for prosperity and strengthen friendships among village users. Add new items to make adventures more diverse. Also, provide unique items through high friendship levels and difficult missions to obtain items with special attributes.

  • Mojang, I have a very small but sentimental suggestion for the update, please hear me out! Parrots: Make it so parrots stay on your shoulder unless you fall from over 3 blocks high. I have so many memories of playing with my parrot on Bedrock, but when I moved to Java I was sad that you can't even jump with them.

  • It will be interesting if crocodiles are added because I think the swamp needs this mob and it can make the swamp more attractive and dangerous and for example drop an item like crocodile leather so we can have new armor or drop their teeth to For example, we can make new arrows or newer

  • I guess what will make or break this new feature is what kind of loot the player can get from unlocking the Vault. It should be unique/rare and actual useful. It can be a new Trim, or some new music disk or some new enchanted tools/books etc. Also, the loot should depend on the difficulty you are playing, so you can get better stuff.

    • I agree. Right now, the structure is not worth visiting. Even though trim, shurds or music disks are nice, it's nothing new and exciting. We need new features like the autocrafter that changes or give us something truly unique.

    • I absolutely agree, looks like this dungeon can get pretty difficult so most likely I’d go into it after getting enchanted armor. if all the loot that I could find from this dungeon was just things I already had I’d come back really disappointed😬

  • It's an interesting feature, but the Trial Chambers lack unique loot, which seriously drags them down, as there is no reason to come here over other structures. Unique enchantments, blocks and items should be a must in the new dungeon, something that cannot be found anywhere else.

  • I'm just really really really hoping the new key will unlock a new weapon of some sort. The last weapon we got was in 1.13 and 1.14 with the trident and crossbow, so its been so long since we've gotten a new weapon and I'd love to see one come. whether from and update to archeology or the trial chambers.

  • Dear mojang, please fix the copper doors to behave like iron doors. They still use redstone. Make sure that the doors only open with a trial key and redstone.

  • Some Ideas / Feedback: Vaults should include unique loot and change depending on difficulty Dog Armor should have the ability to be dyed, but think more like beds than dog collars. Armor Trims for dog armor would be great, so would enchantments like feather falling, protection etc. This is kind of far fetched but I would love for tools to have trims too, as it would add to their uniqueness

  • I have a suggestion about the new mc 1.21 update. That is what if u update the blast furnaces. I mean I see some youtubers talking about frying table which was accidentally when u were showcasing the crafter. I think instead of that u can change the blast furnaces. • what if u can combine metals together to make even strong and powerful alloys(metals like gold,copper,iron,netherite and all). • It will be more useful as it is not much used by players.. • The catch will be that u can't mix more than 2 ores at once . means there will be two slots of input instead of one.(Also the limit will be two. Means u can't mix alloy with another alloy or alloy with other metals whatever u like ) • You can still use it normally like u do it before by just putting one input.. [The catch will be : it will take 10 or 15 sec for combining two metals or how u like] • For automate this(sry if I miss splled )u can put hopper on it as usual. It will not mix the same type of metal except iron as it will make steel ofcourse... • This will help children like me(yes , don't argue , I'm still going school.)understanding how metals are mixed together to make even stronger things (also u can make armour and tools with them or even upgrade your weapons which u can't upgrade before like bow.   • It's not enough that the only benefits of going to the trial chamber are a lot of copper, new gimmicks, and breezes. Other structures, such as the Undersea Temple and the Ancient City, are something that can only be obtained there, so please add them. If this continues, it will eventually become a copper mine.

    • There are literally no benefits. Here's why: If you find 1 trial chamber by the point you are at the iron stage, its a very hard challenge not worth going for. If you find a trial chamber with diamond gear,the loot is literally useless. You are spending your time better by just keep mining like you always did instead of risking your life in this structure for already existing useless loot and not anything new at all. The difficulty does not reward you enough, its almost like the ancient cities loot all over again. This structure is just artificially hard and it doesn't reward the player in any intersting or new way.

    • The problem is Microsoft doesn’t want to let Mojang add a lot of more content to the game because they don’t want it to feel “bloated”, so Mojang has very little loot to offer the players. And unless they want to massively devalue Netherite and Nether Stars by adding them to common loot tables, they only have stuff like iron tools to offer players. It’s very frustrating. The loot system and the rarity of the game’s materials needs to be completely rebalanced. @@steyrcolt8669

    • Exacly. Getting a lot of copper isint even that hard. Copper Bulbs are the only thing youd really want from there. Trial Chambers so far are extremely underwhelming to a Point i have to ask why do they even exist? The whole update mind aswell have been the Mob Dungeon Update that added these Trial Spawners in them instead. You litereally whoudnt miss out on anything if it was like that.

  • The absolute best thing they could do with the vault to not make it useless loot is make it dispense mending books and other usefull books. That would both eliminate some of the tedious process of getting villager farms for players who don't want to do so, make the trials more rewarding and still let players who want lots of mending either explore more or get villagers!

  • New mob heads would be a really fun drop. Also, I'd love to see some potion loot in the trial chambers. Maybe we have to wait for the combat update first?   • since this is a redstone update, why not add some sort of redstone block, that can only be found in the end, that can deal damage but only when activated by a redstone pulse
