  • I think it would be cool if you play as one of the kids or parents and you canonically meet your end in this chapter if it is a prequel. It could really amp up the horror knowing that you can actually die and are not protected by plot-armor

  • I don't know why but the idea of everyone going to hide in the ball pit and the entire thing just collapsing into an abyss is actually terrifying to me. And then being greeted by Zolphius on the way down and Flynn catching everyone and most of the adults are killed? It really does seem like the kind if thing that would be in a literal nightmare, it diesnt make a lot of sense but theres just a sense of foreboding and fear that comes from it.

    • It makes sense when you think about it. We never met BanBan until we went down into the lower levels. Plus, Opila was on the whiteboard of "Make A Friend Day"

    • I think it's more so that she was the only one left present in the first chapter. Not to mention the marks on the wall of the ball pit room that suggest she had climbed the wall. Perhaps literally everyone, mascots included, fell in the pit, but Opila caught the wall during the fall. Probably not too far down, so she was able to get back up, leaving her the only one present on that floor. But then the main character come along and get Opila to fall after all, same as everyone else.

  • Hey, MatPat, I have another theory to do with chapter 5: In the end of chapter 4, Stinger Fling is brought to the lift as Sherrif Toadster thinks he is "useful". I have a feeling that Stinger Fling is putting us in one of his flashbacks, and telling the story of how everything game crashing down. BUT HEY - THAT'S JUST A THEORY.

  • As someone against Banban, I hated when 6 was being teased in 4, but after this theory, I think its a kinda smart move. A mystetious 5th chapter devolving from the current story. The story continues in 6, but goes back for 5. The brothers win this round. 1 to... well Im not really sure.

  • I think, on a personal view, that zolphius and the mutant kid has probably known each other as human, OR the kids that fell into the ball pit fell into some givanium storage facility and mutated into the mutant kid. It would explain the sad, screaming and scared face as it’s the kids’s fear of never going to see their dear parents ever again

  • Fun fact: scent pods don't work if you think about the fact that your drinking water beforehand, I learned this because of one of my moms friends sending us candy in a big container that used to hold peppermints, and so the scent would stick to the candy and make it taste weird but I found out how to make it taste normal again by telling myself in my head what I had in my mouth.

  • Earlier in the game Banban did tell us he was planning on giving that one imposter monster to his "friend", maybe this new monster is that friend. Maybe he was only one who could befriend it, he did say he didn't get along with the other scientists. It's probably why he able to connect, one outcast to another.

  • I like how Matt thinks that The difference in the whiteboard is significant when it was actually what was originally supposed to be in the game before they changed it during development. What is on the whiteboard in the Chapter 5 screenshot is also on the whiteboard in the Chapter 1 teaser image and trailer. Also, how can we be playing as Banban in Chapter 5 when we can be seen in the screenshots that we, the player, are holding the remote for the drone?

  • If the entire game isn’t about a kindergarteners recess game, I don’t want it. Because it does explain Charles(kids grab whatever toys they have) how the big Dino thing walked(a kid holding it in his hand) and why the random creatures are fighting or the kangaroo suddenly unleashes such power.   • Its actually simple. Sheriff Toadster said "We need to get out of this floor to anywhere else! " so my prediction is that every game is one floor. So floor 1,2,3,4 jumping off of floor 5, to 6. Sheriff Toadster only putted 2 gears in. We still have the 3rd one. So it probably jumped a floor.

  • Here's a theory! Syringeon, the Mascot teased in the secret room in 4 is the reason why the Mascots seem to survive every encounter that leads to them being injured. Opila's fall in the ball pit, Nabnab getting attacked by Nabnaleena, Kamataki and Chamataki's explosion injuries and the fall it takes after it's boss battle, and any injuries that took place at the ending of 3. Why else would they have a Mascot with actual surgical tools? It's made to keep the other Mascots alive, and maybe even make new ones so there's no risk of something like the jumpscare after you fail Nabnaleena's minigame to the doctors.

  • Going to offer a slight alter theory. Chapter V isn't a prequel, but a B story. The images aren't on Meet-A-Friend Day, but in a separate basement area we haven't seen yet. A duplicate of the kindergarten where this green child was living and being taught to live with others. The difference in whiteboards due to someone changing it in the real kindergarten but nobody was left to change the "copy" in the basement. Yes, they intended to bring the green child up for Meet-A-Friend Day, but it triggered Banban before hand. Banban went nuts during Meet-A-Friend Day because he was triggered by the similarity to what he had seen in the duplicate room with green child and remembered the trauma green child caused.

When Zolphius says I'm sorry, he says it in Spanish in the audio, even though the subtitles are in English. He says "Lo Siento," Spanish for I'm sorry. Am I the only one who hears this in the game?   • Sooooo.... In banban 1 after you defeat opila bird, if you go back to the cafetirea a music tape player has apaered and it says "For you". Now who could've placed that? This means that opila and us weren't the only on the first floor. In banban 3 there is a tape showing a Kid and the main captain fiddles. Maybe he has placed it. If so where was when we weren't at ball pit. He hided sure, where? And why he has been hiding from us. Just mysteries.

  • 8:17 I believe Zolphius does speak, it's just difficult to hear. When I watched you play through the game I remember hearing him saying "lo siento", which is "I'm sorry" in spanish. He just whispers it and it's quite difficult to catch, but for some reason I've never heard anyone talking about it.

  • I have a fnaf theory which could help connect burntrap and mimic. It's the fact that before princess quest ending Afton was indeed alive and well and was controlling mimic AI with the glitchtrap virus. But when Afton was oofed from the digital remains of him then the mimic was back to well the mimic. I believe this theory is correct considering the endos look suuuuuupppperrrrrr similar and the fact that you can see muscles? I think near the thigh area. So I believe that the other program (forgot name) which was meant to stop the mimic was stopped by the glitchtrap virus. Because Afton had the mimic as his endo skeleton I believe it might have hunted him. So he did what he did. I believe the mimic took off the horrific remains of the man himself and well returned. Hope it helps in future theories Matpat!
