When I add water to the top fence gate, the water flows in the opposite direct as the video. The water flows towards the end of the platform, away from the portal. Why is this?
@@undeadshagames9489 Which way were you facing when you added the water? You have to stand with your back to the portal and facing the gates.

Your video editing skills and ongoing creative process are very obvious here. I thought the numbers on the blocks on themselves to count them out was a really nice touch. Like giving reality to the mental process someone might have while doing the build process.
Invisibility Potion is so useful ngl, especially used in: (place with too many projectile attacks) - Ocean Monument - Nether Fortress (place that has many aggro mobs) - Bastion - The End But remember to only wear 1 armor slot or less to stay invisible (Helmet with Aqua Affinity for Ocean Monument, Elytra for the rest)
And also in transporting shulkers
I'm not taking my armour off in a bastion, no way.
@@crowbar_the_rogue Even with max armors those Brute Piglins are too d*mn strong (2-3 hit to death), the key is to store Bastion loots in Ender Chest (the top priorities are Pigstep music disc and Snout Banner)
@@CEOofCunnySlurper wrong, piglin brutes kills unenchanted netherite in 4 hits, and max enchanted netherite in 7 hits, wdym with 2-3 hits
frost walker boots if u build a gold farm too :)
What i love about SC is how they dont do any of the annoying stuff other tutorials do where they just ramble on and on before starting the tutorial. SC just gets right to the point in extreme detail and makes some pretty powerful farms as well
tbh i'd prefer an explanation before hand of what it does and how it works. so i end up skipping through them. either way good videos and top tier farms. some of them arent good tho

Thank you very much for this guide! I got it to work in Bedrock w a few minor tweaks. For anyone in BEDROCK the only differences I had to make was a temporary dirt block line above the fence gates to correctly place the water instead of saturating the gates, as well as make the afk room directly on top of the nether portal of the farm for it to run properly.

Important tip: When you will place the soul sand, the bubble will result in massive fps decrease(I started to get 7 fps where normally the fps is around 70). So, set particle to minimal and fps will become normal again
@Shuflduf same here, though I can run minecraft and other low end game, my PC often trashes as it's almost 7 y/o.

This farm is amazing! Portal tip: Most know this but you can have multiple portals on the same X and Z coordinate. If you build a portal to your afk spot via the nether roof you can clear some bedrock and your guardian transport portals will be unaffected. Hope this helps a few people!
Will it work if I move the portal that guardians go through above the nether roof? And have the nether part of the farm on top of the roof.
@@walkinginshapes845 I think you could probably do this but the location of the afk spot needs to be the same. Portals on the same X and Z coordinate get linked to the closest portal in reference to the y coordinate. So if you have a portal built at y = 125 (overworld) and two portals in the nether (one at say y=128 or y=150) the overworld portal will connect to the y=128 since traveling to this portal is only 3 blocks up compared to the 22 needed for the other portal. This being said, as long as the two portals are placed in such a way that the two portals don’t connect you should be good. Just to avoid mistakes, I would suggest using the world download provided and see if you can figure out the ideal locations for your idea

My brother just started a server so we could play together after I moved out of state. I found a sunken temple, I've never tried to farm one before, and this video has definitely inspired me to set up my base in that area.

Tip, expand storage a ton if you want to afk more than 1 hour as the chests should fill up in about 48 minutes and the hoppers around 52 minutes

My favorite farm so far. 1. Unlimited light sources 2. Unlimited prismarine, the prettiest block in the game imo 3. Unlimited food source 4 Sitting AFK at the farm sounds like the beach

Ayoo, any trouble with it leaking the guardians out in the nether? I made it exactly how it is in the video -- but when I go to the nether none of them are in the kill chamber and I had a pit of 400 guardians slapping around. Not sure what I did wrong
@@aneloxide5686 not sure what you did wrong, can't really help you there. I guess look for a hole or anything that might cause it. Maybe make a slightly bigger glass room around the portal on the nether side and add a few more campfires. Maybe the portal is on a chunk boarder and that makes it act funky. It shouldn't, but it's Minecraft, you never know :) try some stuff and good luck

Works perfectly in 1. 20. I would recommend to spawnproof the farm with slabs or Torches if you doesn't use Glass as Building Block.

What I love about this build is that it is time efficient as far as building goes. I don't have to spend multiple days destroying and draining the monument, I just need to place few stacks of soul sand.

@@JCEditsYT The easier right now is the Rays Work's one kzhead.info/sun/rNKvn918nJqcZIk/bejne.html It produces only 36 shells/h but it's super easy to build, is super stable and if you rename the 2 shulkers it doesn't affect the mob cap. This is why I think I'll build a couple ot those in my spawn chunks

I’m having trouble building this when I am placing the water, it goes through the fence gate and messes up the stream. Am I doing something wrong. I’m on Xbox btw
xbox is minecraft's bedrock version(cross platform version on mobile , nintendo, xbox, ps ,win10 edition on pc, etc.) but this farm is for minecraft java(pc only) both of them have different mechanics from each other. most of the farms which is designed for java wont work on bedrock edition. if you are willing to make a farm on minecraft bedrock just add "minecraft bedrock" at the end of the farm's name you want to build(like: minecraft bedrock mob farm) .if you want to build a guardian farm i recomend slientwhisperer's portal based guardian farm
Pretty smart idea, I'm shocked I haven't seen it before. For the effort and blocks, this has to be the best farm option.

I look at these tutorials and take them for granted, then I build from a different tutorial and love these again
I just made this farm and it works great, but I realized that I built the farm wrong. My farm is rotated 90 degrees and I received a ton of ink sacks, like 2 shulker boxes full overnight, so I would definitely recommend looking into it because it produces a good amount of everything.
The farm also produces ink sac when buit as shown in the video

This is an amazing farm, it works well however, if your going to do a sorting mechanism please do your research, I had to do a custom one. You could probably find one but try to test it out and see what you can do, I had I think 20 different sorting areas and some of the chest got filled to the brim and items get stuck easily from overload!

This might sound weird but could you make a video showing us in what order you put items for the auto sorter?
the world download works fine with single player, but in multiplayer you would need to keep the nether chunk loaded with a chunk loader. might be a little annoying to remove the portals and keep it overworld only, i suppose you'd need a 3 wide deep trench leading to a kill chamber
help me i now have over 200 guardians in my nether area they escaped somehow
