"My husband decided to shave. My daughter loves his mustache and plays with it all the time. He's a Respiratory Therapist, so when it gets too long he has to trim it so his face masks fits better. This time, he decided to shave it. We knew it would be a shock but we were not expecting this reaction. She was heartbroken. It lasted for 2 days! She did not want to go to him until his shadow came in and it started growing back again."

    • I don't think she was confused. She was just expressing her displeasure over something she didn't like. Brussel sprouts can produce the same tantrum in a lot of toddlers - and adults, too. For years I loathed sprouts, but now I know how to cook them properly, they're delicious.

  • I feel this. My father had a mustache for the first few years of my life. I even woke up early to help him shave and groom it. When he shaved it off I was like, “who is this and where is mg daddy?” It was like if Ned Flanders shaved. Then he grew the mustache back for my birthday which I was really happy about. Shaved it off again a while later, but by then I was okay with it.

  • My dad had a full beard and mustache and apparently shaved it without warning while we were on vacation when I was two. He came out of the bathroom and I screamed and cried and was inconsolable. 36 years later he’s kept the mustache, just in case… 👨🏻

I had a beard since the day he was born, and at about 10 months, I shaved my beard off, and he was confused about the whole thing, and didn't want to come with me. It took about an hour for me to get him to come with me again, and he just kept touching my face, and wondering what happened to my beard. LOL
