My daughter didn't see her daddy without a beard until she was in the 4th grade.... He shaved it so she could monitor the regrowth as a science fair experiment!!!

That was nice of him to do that for her, although, if it were the men in my family, she'd only have to wait until the next morning. My dad is all Italian, (as is my mom too) and before he retired, he'd have to shave twice a day. My son is like that too, he's half Italian and half Armenian. He'll shave in the morning and in the evening too. When he was in boot camp, his CO would always give him grief about it and would tell my son to stand closer to the razor next time, lol, but his beard would grow back in hours. Thank goodness I didn't inherit it! 🤣🤣

The son is certainly way beyond his years, but let’s also give props to the dad. What a smart way to do it! Doing peek a boo, the son didn’t notice of course. Dad took his time to reveal. This is precious on every level.
Yeah, Dad kept the unchanged parts uncovered, so the son could see that it is Dad. He knew it was Dad, and so while confused by the lack of beard, he knows Dad didn't just disappear.
I shaved my beard off when my son was about the same age, and he was so scared of me and started crying. never thought about his reaction when I was doing it. he had to get to know me all over again. 😂
It still amazes me how different my husband looks when he shaves his beard :)
Same thing happened when my husband shaved his beard. Our two yr old cried and wouldn’t go close to him for three days.
My daughter did the same lol my husband came out of the bathroom and she went ballistic and reached for me instantly. 🤣 Still better than him shaving his head while I was in the hospital after giving birth.... 😒 he's bald in all our hospital photos... and he literally has NEVER worn his hair like that other than that time. So my daughter is constantly asking who the guy is in our hospital photos... 🙄

Great reaction. A little bit irritated but finally it's dad 😅🤣💖💖💖 Reminds me on a funny situation... Almost 17 years ago I met my husband. He is from Senegal, West Africa. When he met my older grandchild it was so so funny... She was almost a year old and she never saw a black person before... My daughter came in carrying her on her arms. First she saw me and started laughing and moving cause she always jumped into my arms 💜. Then she saw my husband... She stopped smiling instantly and looked at him with eyes wide open... My daughter got very close to him still having Alisha on her arms.... She was like frozen and starred maybe two minutes straight to him... She looked up and down and down to up many times really seriously... Then she touched his face and proofed everything like - mmmhmm, he has two eyes too, a nose, a mouth etc. After a while when she checked him enough she started to smile and she want to be on his arms... Since that day they are best friends 💝💝💝
